Zara Riddle moved to a small town so her life could be quiet and safe. But now that her witch powers have kicked in, life is anything but. Long-lost relatives are coming out of the woodwork, and it turns out the family tree is riddled with magic.

When a ghost shows up, Zara finds out her Spirit Charmed powers come with a cost. She must solve the woman's murder. Zara teams up with her handsome neighbor, a wolf shifter who's both mysterious and perfect. Maybe too perfect? He did save her life during a vicious attack, but some strange coincidences have Zara second-guessing her alliances.

The town of Wisteria may be quaint on the surface, but danger lurks around every corner. To protect her family, Zara must risk her heart and her life. Forces of good and evil will face off in a battle where one side has a secret advantage.

One thing's for sure. Zara Riddle is keeping these new powers, blue lightning balls and all.

Once you go witch, you never switch.

"I enjoyed this book very much...it's not your usual cozy mystery. The characters have a lot more depth and personality. The story line keeps you guessing. I'm looking forward to more in this series."
- Reader review, Victoria

"I love this series! I am still laughing about sleep-toasting! The main characters have flaws but the story doesn't become a therapy session, just a good paranormal mystery."
- Reader review, Mys Sherry

"Loved it! It's light-hearted, and a fun, relaxing read. Sometimes that's just what you need -- something entertaining without blood and gore, abusive spouses, etc. I enjoy a variety of books and this is one I would choose to unwind with."
- Reader R.C.

"It's thrilling! It's funny! And it won't leave you in agonizing pain (except, possibly, from laughter)."
- Robert J. Crane, author of the bestselling Girl in the Box series

"Love the relationship between mom and daughter. Great characters! The head librarian made me LOL."
- Genevieve McKay

"Wise-cracking witches and hunky shifters and magical books... oh my!"
- Amazon reviewer

"A rollicking romp full of humor and heart. The witches of Wisteria will leave you laughing, guessing, and coming back for more!"
- Dana Moss

Unfortunately I only get to read late at night due to my schedule, so I don’t get to read as much as I want without falling asleep. No reflection on the book. I love it and all the characters keeps you interested. I will continue to struggle with my late nights and get going on other books. I also love the Stormy Day series

paranormal, librarian, snark-fest, puntastic, witches, shifters, small-town, family-dynamics, cozy-mystery When Zara and her daughter moved to their new home in Wisteria they had never lived in a small town, didn't really remember Zara's Aunt Z, didn't believe in witches or shifters, and thought it was freaky cool that they both had the same shade of red hair. Things changed. They met Aunt Z, learned that they came from a family of witches (and that they were witches as well), met a wolf shifter, and learned a lot about living in a small town. And that the previous owner of their house had died under suspicious circumstances. The characters are all more than a little zany, and the snarks and puns kept me giggling and carrying on throughout. Tiffany Williams proved to be a fantastic voice performer with the ability to separate the characters as well as pull off all the fun with the equivalent of a straight face! I won the audiobook in a giveaway! I really win!

Well-written, interesting characters (many of which make you go hmm... and make want to read the next book in the series to see if there is more to them). Good storyline and enough humor to keep you smiling. Worth the read!

I didn't find the charaters very interesting or likable. The constact smart elec joking by the main character was very annoying. I read the first book in a different series by this author, and that main character also was a smart elec. Even a cozy mystery is suppose to keep you guessing who did it, but there weren't any viable suspects. I didn't even care who did it. The author left some questions unanswered hoping to entice you to buy the next book in the series. I don't care what happens, so I won't be reading any more in the series. I rated this book two stars instead of one star because it was short and I managed to finish reading it. I'm glad the book was free.

Her writing style is a little frenetic for my taste,by it was cute. She could have made it another 100 pages longer and worked on character development in my opinion. Brhynnzs
