One whiskey-saturated night turns into something far more in the second standalone installment of the bestselling Whiskey and Lies series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan.

Fox Collins likes his life just the way it is. His siblings are falling in love all around him, but he’d much rather focus on his next story than on a serious relationship. However, when his latest one-night stand returns to Whiskey—this time for good—he’ll need to learn to trust his instincts to figure out if he can live without her in his life.

Former dancer Melody Waters is finally ready to settle down in her grandmother’s small Pennsylvania hometown. Bad decisions and fateful nights have changed her path more than once, but now she’s focused on one thing: opening her new own dance studio. But fate is a funny thing, and once again, she’ll be forced to learn that actions have consequences and some repercussions can not only change your life forever, they can also come back to haunt you…one broken promise at a time.

Book two of the Whiskey and Lies series a spin off to the Montgomery series by Carrie Ann Ryan. We meet Fox in last book the younger Collins that own the local newspaper. Melody comes into town to see Ms Pearl her grandmother and they have one too many Whiskey shots. Fast forward three months and melody is settling in Whiskey only to find Fox is a local and everyone is in each other’s business. I really like that even with tragic history Melody is a strong independent woman that even though likes Fox a lot wants to start her new business off on her own. My only pet hate is the excessive winking but that’s just me. This book was narrated by Maxine Mitchell and at start I wasn’t sure I liked her voice but by end of character one I really enjoyed it and liked that each voice is well developed and can tell different characters easily. Really like that this family isn’t too traditional and predictable love this writer and her HEA series

I really enjoyed the way this story started out. Fox and Melody were missing each other but he didn’t know how to find her. Once Fox found her and that was by accident she gave him the cold shoulder. This story has family, hope, love, loss, some danger and learning about yourself and the other person you don’t want to live without.

I fell in love with Fox and Melody. Fox was kind and understanding and Melody was trying to start over. She has a past that she wishes could be different but is trying to go forward and be a better person then she was. Fox can’t seem to get melody out of his mind from the one time that they were together. When they meet up again and then start seeing more of each other because of a story that he is writing the two slowly start to come together. They do have a few obstacles to overcome but hey both have some family to help them out. Both characters are sweet and endearing and his is a great read.

Very much enjoyed book 2 in the Whiskey and Lies series. Fox and Melody have great chemistry but after a 1 night encounter they think they won't see each other again despite the great connection they had. Little do they know that they are about to come in close contact once again when Melody moves to town... Of course when they meet again sparks fly and they can't deny their attraction however both are very wary of being in a relationship - each for their own reasons. However circumstances are lining up to keep them in close contact for a very long time!! Loved the twist and how it forced them to face their fears and commit to each other. Great read. REALLY looking forward to book 3 to see how the friends' romance turns out...!

Sweet and Sexy Fox won me over from his first appearance on the page. He’s a dedicated, hard-working and extremely loyal man. He’s got those alpha tendencies that I tend to love in my heroes, but he also knows how to be a gentle, caring and extremely sensual man. I also can’t forget mention that Fox is pretty high up on my hotness scale. Fox’s personality and attitude make him a very like man. Melody has talent, drive and a touch of sass that puts her in a class that’s all her own. She starting a new chapter of her life, in a small town while still trying to heal from the consequences of bad choices. Melody has those dreamer tendencies and a caring nature that make her the wonderful person she is. Whiskey may have been the catalyst, but chemistry and connection always get you in the end. Fox and Melody shared night of whiskey fueled passion that left way more than a hangover the next morning. Leaving two people with a longing of something or should I say someone more in their lives. Fox and Melody dance around the feelings they share giving readers a sweet, sensual tale of love that heats up pretty quickly. Whiskey Reveals is low on the drama and all about the feels. I really enjoyed the connection between Melody and Fox. The way that Melody revealed her secrets and the way Fox receives and reacts is worth the story alone. Whiskey Reveals is entertaining, sweet and hot. The perfect combination in a romance.

I loved this story! It was great to get Fox's story! He loves his family but he feels a little bit like the odd one out for multiple reasons. Melody has just moved to town to open up a dance studio and to try and start her life. She has had a hard few years and is taking the opportunity to move in with her Grandma to help her out and find her place. Fox and Melody had a one night stand a few months prior, before she moved back for good. Neither one was expecting what they found. Fox hasn't been able to stop thinking about her but when they reconnect she isn't looking for something serious, or at all. I loved how the story flowed through the book and we get to see them build a relationship and friendship. They get thrown a few curve balls that have to be dealt with but it also pushes them in the right direction. There's some intrigue in this story. The sex is explicit but not very frequent. It fits both the story and the characters. While there isn't a lot of action, this story does pull in you and hold your attention from beginning to end. Once I started reading it, I didn't want to put it down. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

It was supposed to be a one night stand, but Fox and Melody couldn't stop thinking about each other. Their attraction heated up when Melody moved to Whisky three months later. Her past comes back to haunt her as she tries to start a new chapter in her life. I really enjoyed these characters and the interesting twists in the story. This is another wonderful book in the Whiskey and Lies series and I am looking forward to the next one.

Whiskey Reveals is the second book in the Whiskey and Lies series by Carrie Ann Ryan and while most people like reading a series in order this book can be read as a standalone if you wish to do so. I love Fox, there was just something about him maybe it was his vulnerability because he felt he didn't measure up to his older brother so he had to work harder, or maybe it was because of his inner strength that made him fight for what he believed in. Either way the man had my vote in anything he chose to do. Melody had been to Whiskey PA a few weeks prior to moving there, and that's when she had her first taste of the youngest Collins Brother, Fox. It seems that Melody couldn't get Fox out of her mind but she was determined to start her new life in Whiskey focused on opening her Dance Studio and not on the man that gave her one night of the most amazing sex she ever had, well fate, destiny, chance, whatever you want to call it had a different plan for both of them. Neither Fox nor Melody were looking for a relationship when they had their one-night-stand, and to tell the truth neither one could get the other out of their minds so when they run into one another again you know what will happen even though both of them agree to just being friends....HA! as if that would ever work! This was a fun read which had a bit of suspense to it. Someone is stalking Melody from her past, this adds an extra layer to the story which I really enjoyed. If you have read any of Carrie Ann Ryan's work before you will definitely enjoy this read and if you haven't....what are you waiting for????? Happy Reading! **I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**

Fox is a journalist who also owns the Whiskey Chronicles. One night at the bar he met Melody and they shared a steamy one night stand but three months later he hasn’t forgotten about and all he knows is her first name. Melody is a dancer whose career was cut short, so she has returned to her grandmother’s hometown looking for a new beginning and that includes opening a dance studio. They never expected to see each other again but now that they are in the same town they soon realize how small Whiskey really is as their lives begin to intersect on a regular basis. fate seems to be throwing them together on a regular basis. When her past starts closing in Fox is right by her side to not only protect her but to help her overcome it. This second chance at love story leads you on an adventure filled with drama, suspense, humorous banter and hot chemistry. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Another thrilling visit to Whiskey! Highly entertaining, sweetly sexy, emotionally engaging and edge of your set gripping romantic journey filled with hard choices and lots of passion.... Fox Collins is sexy, fun, charming and so not looking to settle down and fall in love like the rest of his family recently has. Melody Waters is sexy, sweet, sassy and looking to build her life in Whiskey by opening a dance studio and is not looking for the complication of a relationship. Loved the chemistry and passion that sparks between these two, was highly entertaining to watch them banter and find their way. Could not put this story down....

Whiskey Reveals is the 2nd of this series. Fox met Melody and had a one night stand. However, he couldn't quit thinking about her. Imagine his surprise when she moves to town to help her grandmother who he is doing a feature story on. Lots of surprises here and LOTS of heat. Since it has not been published yet, I won't add any spoilers. If you have read any of Carrie Ann Ryan's books, this is a must read. It will be on my read again list for some time.

Received an advance copy from the author. Loved Fox & Melody's story. Story line was amazing and the chemistry between these two was off the charts. Can't wait for Loch and Ainsley's story.

Melody and Fox's story was a fun read. Like the previous book, there was a small element of suspense. I found I was able to predict some of the story line, but for me that didn't take away from the book. Melody and Fox had chemistry and Fox seemed like a great guy. I enjoyed seeing Dare and Kenzie again. This book was a quick, enjoyable read and I recommend it.

So I have an extensive background with Carrie Ann's books. I've been working may way through her works and I've read an insane amount of her books. BUT I think, so far, this is one of my favorites yet! Fox and Melody have such a complicated relationship that it made this book so much fun! I couldn't wait to see what was/or wasn't going to happen next! Then you bring in their families and BOOM we have MAGIC! The Collins brothers have a really close family, that alone brings drama and crazy things. Then, when we add in Melody's grandma, it just makes things even better! I love how this is a small town and really a small town romance. A part from Fox and Melody's families, I think a lot of the reason I loved this so much was their individual characters. Fox being a writer, of course, makes him so interesting to me as a blogger and avid reader. I think his character has such a finesse about him, much like Griffin did in Written in Ink, because he's a writer. It's almost as if his thoughts describe more, but that could just be Carrie Ann being super creative! But along those same likes I love Melody. I love how skittish she is, but determined to live her life. Really I just love these two! With the addition of some CRAZY twists and turns this was such an awesome read. I truly loved every second. There wasn't a point where I thought I needed to get past this part, or thinking it needed to move along. The pace was great, the story line was great and the character development was amazing. After reading this, I CANNOT wait for Loch's book!!!

What a whiskey affect! Truly enjoyed Fox and Melody’s romance from their first one night stand with just a note of thank you, to Fox not being able to forget her. Little did he know that love will give him a second chance and a few more surprises that both were not expecting. What a journey of love, suspense and forgiveness that you need to one click today. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Readers Copy of this book.

I loved Fox and Melody's story!! Fox and Melody had a one night stand and thought that was the end of it. Now, Melody is back in town and see's Fox. They both realize that they still have feelings for one another but they have insecurities like every normal person in the world. This nook can be read as stand alone but I recommend reading them in order to get the most enjoyment. We first see Fox and Melody 3 months ago on the night of their one night stand and this book takes place 3 months later. Carrie Ann Ryan gives all the backstory so you won't be lost or confused though. However, there are some recurring characters and this is a family of brothers and this is a sin off so I really recommend a lot of books, but mainly the start to this series. So, what happens when a one night stand turns into something more? Can these two people handle a relationship? Can they commit to each other? The feelings are there, but will it work out in the end? This was another fantastic read and I absolutely loved it. Can't wait to see what she cooks up next.

I liked the story of Fox and Melody as part of the Whiskey and Lies series, but it's not a favorite. The series is about the Collins family, with down to earth, small town characters. The story line keeps your interest, but Whiskey Reveals started out a bit slow. Fox is the bookish brother, rather than a strong alpha, but I liked him with Melody. The tempo does pick up as secrets are revealed and definitely worth reading as part of the series. This is a voluntary review of an ARC.
