I have a two-year-old who loves puzzles. I thought this might be a good way for him to connect his alphabet song to the actual symbol. This 72 piece puzzle set is very colorful and appropriate for little ones--but do not think that it will double as a "classic" flashcard system. I recommend it, but the box can be a hassle.

I bought this for my grandson who is almost 2 1/2yrs. old. He enjoys spending time learning his numbers and letters and pairing them. I highly reccomend this.

I tried blocks, I tried ABC books and I tried the ABC placemats to get my 3-year-old daughter interested in learning to recognize her ABCs. She would push everything aside and walk away. With this game she brings the box to me and asks me to play with her. She loves it and she is learning.

I bought this becuase it had a great review, and had both numbers and letters, but the pieces dont stay together and so its immpossible to store it in the orginal box, and this makes it difficult for my daughter to have to go through all the peices to try and put them together.

By using puzzle pieces in pairs, this set teached both letters and numbers. Good for emerging readers and budding math majors. The concept is simple and can be used by the child alone or with help from mom and dad. ABC, 123, see how easy learning can be!
