Overview

Millions of readers have fallen in love with Ava's bestselling books...come join the family.

International Bestselling Author Ava Miles shares an emotional tale about a woman's quest to reunite her family and make a patchwork quilt of happiness out of her own happily ever after.

Riley Thomson believes every woman can be her own superhero.

When he meets Sadie McGuiness, he's even more sure of it.

The sassy quilter might not fight good and evil, like he depicts as a comic book artist, but she leaps tall buildings in a single bound. He sees it in her brave quest to locate her long-lost sister and the way she champions his motherless daughter. It's not just her superhuman strength he's attracted to--it's the strength of her heart. She stitches together the different blocks of her life with love, much like the magical quilts she creates. Soon he's modeling his new female superhero after her.

As Sadie and Riley create their own patchwork of happiness, dark forces from their past return to test them. Can they battle them together to ensure a happily ever after for them and the rest of their family?

I loved this series, but this was my favorite. The love of family, Israel in this book. Being so far from mine, makes me miss them more. You need to read this whole series, this last book will leave you smiling and your heart full.

A lovely finish to the Dare River series! While I'm sad that the series has ended, this was a great finish to it, tying up all the loose ends! I can't wait to see what comes next! Please note: I was gifted a copy of this book, all opinions are my own.

Ava Miles kept us waiting for a pretty long time for this last book in the Dare River series and it is definitely worth the weight. Like all the other books in this series, Ava Miles speaks of family, friends, forgiveness, laughter and most of all love. Her characters are relatable, with lots of depth and you just can't help falling in love with them. Riley is a great hero for Sadie. I couldn't help falling in love with him as their relationship progressed. I was also very happy that JP (Sadie's brother) appears frequently in this story. I loved him right from the start when he appeared in the series and continue to love him more as the series continues. He is such a pillar of strength and wisdom that anyone would love to have him as a brother or husband. I also enjoyed reading about quilting in this book. Even though I don't know much about quilting, I think it really helps to heal and I love their idea of quilting of newborn babies, giving them the sense of safety and security.

I have always been fascinated by the craft of quilting and to read a book about a heroine who quilts. This is a story about families and forgiveness and finding someone to love in the meantime. Such quality writing and well worth taking the time out to sit down and enjoy this story. I received an ebook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: All conclusions are my own.

I really enjoyed The Patchwork Quilt of Happiness, the last book in the Dare River series by Ava Miles. I t enjoyed Riley and Sadie’s story but also truly enjoyed that Ava brought in past characters from her previous books. It is like finding a long lost friend and picking up where you left off. Ava does that – her characters are your friends and you can forget that they are fictional! This last book was great. I loved the quilting and comic book theme. I love who all her books involve family. You won’t be disappointed, I highly recommend Thee Patchwork Quilt of Happiness. I received an ebook from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I loved 'The Patchwork Quilt of Happiness' by Ava Miles. I so enjoyed hearing about Sadie and Riley. Sadie was very brave to go to Paige's home to meet her face to face. Instead of Paige answering the door it was Riley and both of them felt the connection instantly. When Sadie asked Paige to join her quilting group and then telling her about the quilts they're making for the NICU babies was very touching. I also loved that the rest of Sadie's family welcomed Paige and her family into their family. It was another wonderful book from Ava. I'm looking forward to the next one. If you haven't read this one you should and you won't be sorry. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. The Patchwork Quilt of Happiness is the sixth book in the Dare River series. I was so happy to have a book in this series to read again. Riley and Sadie's story was just what I needed at the time. It was a very enjoyable story to read. I definitely recommend it.

Absolutely the best of the Dare River series! I laughed, I cried, I wanted to hold all three girls and surround them with loving comfort. Sadie had been abandoned at birth by her father, the same soulless man who fathered Paige at the same time and left her with a self-serving mother. Little Jess's mother walked out on her family with selfish abandon, to return only when it served her purposes. This book helps them face the ones who deserted them and realize that they had missed nothing in their absence. The love of the family who had been there all along made all the difference. Paige made a beautiful wife and mother, because she knew what not to be. Sadie will be the perfect mother for Jess. I was proud of Louisa for being able to see beyond her ex-husband's betrayal and open her arms to Paige. The scenes with Jess's mom and Sadie and Paige's dad were cutting, but necessary. I don't know how Ava will top this series, but I can't wait to see. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. This is a Dare River series book, 6th in the series, but it can be a standalone story. The Patchwork Quilt of Happiness is an amazing book. It kind of picks up from where The Fountain of Infinite Wishes left off in the sense that in this book we meet Paige the half-sister, she is part of the reason their daddy left them. The minute I opened the book I couldn't put it down. I loved it and this is my favorite of all Ava Miles books. She has yet to disappoint me but this truly is my favorite. This is the story of Sadie and her finding love but also the family meeting and falling for their half-sister they just learned about. I love the creativity of the characters, the visual pictures that are created are wonderful, it makes the characters even better. Sadie makes quilts and owns her own shop, and Riley makes comic books. This book is written perfectly and I love how well it combines both storied of Sadie and Riley falling in love and Page and her husband Mark learning about their new family. The Patchwork Quilt of Happiness by Ava Miles is the sixth book in her Dare River series and definitely worth reading. I loved it! Ava Miles writes wonderful and heartfelt stories about love, family and relationships. She doesn't shy away from the difficult subjects all the while weaving in happiness, fairytales and the perfect happily ever after that we are looking forward to. Riley Thomson writes comic books and believes that all women can be their own super hero and after meeting Sadie McGuiness he is even more sure of it. Sadie sets out to find the missing piece of her family and that is her long lost sister. It just so happens that Riley and his adorable daughter are her sister's neighbors and friends. Riley and Sadie realize right away that they are attracted to each other, but are very aware of their many differences. Differences that have the potential to destroy their relationship before it even has a chance to get started. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

Another beautiful book in this series. I'm so sad to see the series end, but it was ended perfectly. There is a lot of emotion in this one. I was laughing and crying while reading this. I will say I was a little iffy about Riley in the beginning, but he turned out to be a great character. He's a great single ad and you can feel the love he has for his daughter. His daughter Jess stole the show for me. She's quite the character. She had me in stitches with the things she says. I've looking forward to Sadie getting her HEA. The message of the quilt touched my heart and seeing it bring the family together was beautiful. This book lived up to my expectations and surpassed them. The last chapter ended this series the best way possible. My heart was left happy sighing. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Once again Ava give us another story full of hope and romance. Sadie McGuiness cannot stop thinking on her long-lost sister, on reuniting her to the family. She finds the courage to show up on her sister’s doorsteps. To her surprised, she is welcomed by a handsome and interesting man, Riley Thomson, her sister’s neighbor. Riley, a comic book artist, a single dad. He believes every woman is her own superhero. When he meets Sandie he cannot stop thinking about her. Sandie’s heart is captures by this alluring man. She creates quilts according to people’s life situations and personalities, each unique. Family is everything on Ava’s series and this book is huge on family. The McGuinness clan pulls together in good and not so good times. They find the way to solve the issues, with their love for each other. Could Riley and Sandie’s new love survive this difficult time? Could they find their Happiness? I have fallen in love with Ava’s Dare River series. Come and fall in love too. This is the final book in the series, which makes it even more emotional. “I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Ava Miles writes amazing books. Heartfelt, engaging, interesting books. They bring you right into the story, as if you are there. This book is the last in this series, and that makes me sad. It's hard to let go of these people, they feel like neighbors or family. They all look our for each other, weather it be family by marriage, blood, or by choice, and that is what charms me most. The absolute love they feel for each other, no matter what trials are going on in their lives. Take out your tissues, and read Sadie's story. You won't regret it. Ava Miles has once again hit it out of the park! She uses joy, pain, sadness and celebration as she expands the McGinnis family. Sadie desires a family of her own, a loving husband, children and all that comes with it! She thinks she finds it with Riley, until Mandy appears on the scene. The twists and turns will keep you on your toes. But true to form the McGinns Clan pulls together and find a way to the sunlight at the other end of the tunnel. “I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Patchwork Quilt of Happiness This book, the final installment of the Dare River series – The Patchwork Quilt of Happiness - is just wonderful. Beyond it being a terrific story line as the youngest of the McGuinness siblings finds her mate, it truly explores the importance and the strength of family in a time of crisis; whether it is biological or self-made. This Ava Miles book is absolutely one of her best. It made me weep, both times (so far) that I have read it. It warmed my heart. It was also so nice to catch up with the entire Dare River clan – I felt really satisfied that I have truly finished this series on a high. Don’t miss it. If you have not experienced Dare River you are missing out. This is another great addition to the series but can be read as a stand-alone. The characters seem so real you feel like you know them and the story will have you feeling so many emotions. Ava Miles never lets you down with any of her books and has such a wonderful way of weaving the stories. "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Before reading Patchwork Quilt of Happiness” by Ava Miles, be sure to have a full box of tissues. This story will have you laughing in agreement, crying in consolation, and cheering for the good guys. As always, the author is successful in “keying in” the elements that comprise a large family of individuals. Blending personalities into a cohesive and working relationship is beautifully portrayed here. It is, once again, a “must read.” "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
