This was one of the best books I've ever read it has action, sadness, betrayal, and heartbreak it was awesome. Although it is a little bit strange in the beginning once you get further into the novel you begin to get deeper into character development and conflict development. James Dashner did an incredible job thinking the story up, I have to give him credit it was very creative I definitely recommend this book. PS: the book is MUCH better than the move. :)

I really enjoyed reading The Maze Runner. It is a break from all the romance and fantasy that I usually read and love( though there is some bromance going on). The beginning was slow but towards the end it picked up and there was a lot of action! There is definitely a lot of action and it can get violent at times, especially the last two books of the series. If you are having trouble getting into it, just keep reading! It gets better and the next two books are amazing!

This is a perfect book to hook a man/boy and pull him into the world of imagination. Especially since the protagonist is male. Which let’s be honest, rarely happens. With it’s colorful language and slang, the tone of the book is both humorous and serious. It’s extremely relatable to guys as well as girls. The unique characters and setting trap the reader almost instantly. The Maze is a clever mystery. It immediately draws the readers attention and curiosity. The society these young men have formed is equally fascinating. Each person has their place to keep things functional. It’s an interesting mix up from the usual confusion and chaos of most dystopian novels. When wicked is brought into the story, it adds even more intrigue and mystery. I was turning pages so fast I’m surprised the book didn’t catch on fire from the friction.

Wow. This book has been a mixture of emotions throughout the whole thing. Or at least that’s the way I felt while reading every single last bit of it. James Dashner had me hooked throughout the whole ordeal of the book and it was just wow. My mind is still..I guess..trying to process through the story since I finished it quite fast. This book is getting a five butterfly rating from me. It was that good. For me when I first heard about this book I was in high school and didn’t think that it would be something on my to-read list one day. But then again my taste in reading has changed since I was a sophomore in high school. That and this book was actually better than what I imagined it would be. All I have to say is if anyone asks me in the future or even right now if I would recommended this book to my friends and family I will totally say "Yes!" Because it’s really good and it makes you think about the characters, what is going on and if you could really stop what has happened to them. I don’t really want to spoil anything in this book but this whole thing from the prologue to the end is really good and it just makes you want to jump in there and help the Gladers to get out while not getting killed by the disgusting creatures that live in the maze. Anyways until next time enjoy this book review brought to you by Baroness’ Book Trove. To read more of my book reviews please check out my site. It's

"The Maze Runner" by James Dashner, was a very interesting read. I liked it a lot and i can't wait to read the rest of the series. I chose to read it because it seemed to be very action-packed, which it was, and also because it was recommended by a lady an Barnes and Noble. I would absolutely recommend this book to a reader who enjoys to read action/adventure books. The book was very exciting and fun to read I just couldn't put it down. This book definitely met my expectations. I was expecting a book that would be very suspenseful and make you feel like I was a character in the book. And that is exactly what it turned out to be. The book exceeded my expectations with flying colors.

Maze Runner is a book of adventure, excitement, and mystery. Thomas is a teenage boy that awakens in a metal box with no memory but his name. The doors open overhead revealing a community of teenage boys all living on a type of a farm surrounded by very high walls. This place is called the Glade. Inside the Glade are monsters known as Grievers. Thomas learns that every month a new boy and supplies are sent up to the Glade. But something strange happens, a girl is sent up the day after Thomas arrives. Her name is Teresa. Teresa tells everyone that everything is going to change. She then succumbs into a coma. Just then, the doors to the Glade open and a group of boys called the "runners" run into the maze. Thomas decides he wants to become a runner. This is a journey of Thomas and his adventures. This is a great book that I will read several times. I really enjoyed this book.
