Overview

The sixth and penultimate installment in the thrilling Enemy series has the survivors' stories crossing—with chilling consequences. This special edition, exclusive to Barnes & Noble customers, contains Charlie Higson's Guide to London, in which the author provides fascinating background stories about key locations in the Enemy series.

The sickness struck everyone sixteen and older. First it twisted their minds; next it ravaged their bodies. Now the sickos roam the streets, crazed and hungry for young flesh.

Ella's friends had told her that the country would be safer than the city. They were wrong. Now they're dead and Ella's all alone—alone, that is, except for her silent rescuer, Scarface. But she doesn't even know if he's a kid or a grown-up.

Back in London, Ed is determined to find Ella and keep his promise to Small Sam that he will reunite sister and brother. But getting out of town has never been more dangerous. It seems that every sicko in the country is coming from all directions, almost as if they're being summoned to the capital. Will anything be able to stop the invading horde?

I loved this book so much, I read it in like a day and a half, I just couldn't put it down. As always his book was amazing, it was appsoluntly wonderful. I love how all of the characters innertwine and that plot twist with "Scarface" that was awesome, I was like I NEED to re-read "The Dead" I was just so happy that I almost started crying. Then at the end with H**** that brought me to tears. I can't wait for "The End" to come out on Tuesday November the 3rd, I'm counting down the days. I'm so happy that they will all come together but so sad that it will be over. This book was great because you are with character old and new all along the way.

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD  I love this series as well as this particular book. I've read every single book of this series as well as Higson's "Young Bond" series which is great as well. As usual there is plenty of blood and gore which I love. Although these books are quite violent, I completely disagree with many adults saying that they are too violent for teens. This book isn't as fast paced as many of Higson's other books in this series. This book in the series features more character work,  switching point of views a lot. Some interesting questions are also answered about the disease and how it's spread. As usual, there are twists and turns that you can never predict. In summation this is a great read!
