Welcome to the Complete Aliso Creek Series

Liz, Gemma, Arie, Jess, and Drew have been best friends since creating the "Five" at Aliso Creek High School. But that was over ten years ago, and each is still trying to find that perfect someone . . . if perfect is even possible.
This box set includes all 5 stories:
PICTURE PERFECT: Gemma Staheli has never done anything out of the ordinary, until her boyfriend Randy starts to ignore her. But even cutting and dyeing her hair doesn't get his attention. She decides to join her old high school friends for spring vacation, only to be faced with Drew, her best friend who suddenly seems interested in her as more than a friend. Gemma must determine if her heart is on the rebound or if it's finally met its true match.

THIRD TIME'S THE CHARM: Liz Carlson will settle for a normal man. A normal man with a job, that is. Married twice, then divorced twice, Liz's rose-colored glasses fell off and shattered on the ground a long time ago. Her main focus now is raising her six-year-old daughter and surviving long days at work on her feet as a hairdresser. When Sloane Branden answers her call for help, quite literally, Liz doesn't even give him a second glance. She's sworn off dating for as many years as it takes, and it seems that Sloane has done the same after his own tumultuous marriage. But when Liz realizes that Sloane defies every stereotypical deadbeat she's dated, she might just find room in her heart and discover the third time's the charm.

THE DAISY CHAIN: Jess Giles does find her perfect match, but since Charlie's several years older than she, they never have a moment of harmony from his adult kids who protest the marriage. When Charlie dies in a tragic accident, his kids add insult to injury and sue Jess for her share of the inheritance. The only person Jess trusts for financial advice is Charlie's financial planner, Preston Michaels. Just talking to Preston on the phone makes Jess feel flustered, yet strangely comfortable at the same time, so she puts off meeting him for as long as possible. When Jess has to attend the formal hearing, she's about to find out if the man she's been talking to over the phone for several months lives up to the voice that she's grown attached to.

LOST THEN FOUND: Arie, at the top of her career as VP of an established real estate company, discovers that her success has led to a less-than-successful dating life. But she may have just met the ideal man in work-a-holic film producer, Dustin Jacobs. Seeing each other once a week, or even once a month, is no big deal since they are both ambitious... until Arie realizes she wants much, much more.

ONE CHANCE: Valentina is the odd-woman out. She's part of "the Five" when she dates Drew for a couple of years, and remains friends with the women, but with her traveling schedule as a runway model, it's impossible to maintain a real relationship. When Valentina attends her cousin's wedding in LA, she runs into Cesar, who she was school friends with in her native country of Puerto Rico. Cesar is not the young skinny boy she remembers, but a grown man who seems interested in what's beyond her model-appearance. Back in New York, Valentina can't get him out of her mind, but she also can't deny the fact that they're separated by more than one country.

Ah, such promise....but then...such a let down. The author's idea of a literary climax and resolution were lacking.

Short adult situation love stories. A lovely anthology linked by childhood to adult friendships, with the hint of a catalist to the "five(s)" in book one and ending the series with thier love story.

A nice group of romances. Stories could have been more integrated.

They were cute but each just ended. When you have a series one book should flow into the other and progress as a whole. This series is more life snipits of novellas insteaf pie es of a whole. A series paints a bigger picture and pulls you from start to finish. I did not feel that with this series.

was able to buy this as a bundle for only $.99 so how could I say no? I read all of the reviews first and I have to say I enjoyed all of the books.  I really enjoyed and agree 110% with Barbara14s  review. The best books are the kind that make you laugh, cry, and want to beg the author for just one more book. I would love a follow-up of say, 10 years later to see what the ladies are up to :)

The individual stories were good and interesting. However it bothered me that they were so stand alone. Each story was written like the other 4 hadn't happened and I wanted some carry over and getting to know what happened after the other story ended, especially since 4 of the 5 stories are about the 5 original members of the group and seemed to be happening at approximately the same time.

My only complaint I wish they were longer.

I really enjoyed this series of novellas.  I read them each separately before they were put in a set.  They are definitely for adults, but still clean and romantic.

A fabulous collection of short stories about each person in a group of close friends. There were some parts that were a bit more passionate than is my preference, but that's only because I'm a complete prude, it's relatively benign. You'll love the characters and you find yourself rooting for each romance. Even though you can guess from the start they're going to end up together that doesn't stop you from enjoying the journey. Each story has great writing and takes a different path to the destination!

I loved all the stories in this series and waited anxiously for each one to come out. I'm so glad to see it in a boxed set. It's a series full of great characters and lots of sigh-worthy romance. Definitely on my keeper shelf!

This series is awesome. As a student without a lot of time to read, I love that you can read one of these stories in just a few hours. My favorite one is Daisy Chain. All the stories are interconnected, yet don't have to be read in a certain order. Love the series!

What  a fun set of novellas.  Each of the stories connect to the rest, but they don't have to be read in a specific order.

I read each of these Novella's individually and really enjoyed them. They can be read in any order. Here are my thoughts on each story - Lost Then Found - This is the first novella I have read in the Aliso Creek series. It was delightful and fun. Arie's strong work ethic and her strong opinions have made her dating life less than ideal. When she meets someone with as much drive as she has, the sparks fly, in more ways than one. I enjoyed watching Arie discover her feelings and learn to love. I look forward to reading Valentina's story next, One Chance. Valentina is a great friend of Arie's and played a fun role in Lost then Found. One Chance - I enjoyed watching Valentina and Cesar reunite and discover one another all over again. Both characters drew me in and made me want to see them happily together. I loved how Cesar treated Valentina with respect and defended her when she needed it. I struggled to believe that after waiting so long to find each other they couldn't be a bit more patient with one another as they tried to establish their relationship. Perhaps because it's a novella rather than a full length story. Still, I loved both characters and want to see their story go on. Daisy Chain- In this story Jess is still mourning the loss of her husband who died a year ago. She is torn between holding on to that grief and moving on in her life. Preston is her financial adviser. They talk often over the phone, but Jess has been reluctant to meet him in person because of her growing feelings for him. I enjoyed watching Jess's friend Arie encourage Jess to move on her life. I have read Arie's story and liked seeing her from a different perspective. Preston is the perfect hero in this book. So fun to watch the relationship develop. I am enjoying the characters in this series a great deal. The novellas are perfect for a quick read and a peak into each of the characters' lives. Third Time's the Charm - I always enjoy Heather's books and want more. Her writing style flows and I feel like I understand the characters. This is the 4th of five of the Aliso Creek Novellas I have read. Each of the five friends is so different in personality. I enjoy getting to know each of them and see how they support one another. Liz is probably the character I relate to the least of the books I have read. Heather helps me see inside her heart and mind well though. I could definitely see why she is hesitant to jump into a relationship. She and Sloan have both been through hard times. I was a bit surprised at how easily these concerns seemed to resolve themselves. I think that might be because it's a novella and there is only so much time to work with. So, I was left wanting more. I am looking forward to Gemma's story. She is a great friend to Liz. Maybe I will learn just a bit more about Liz in Gemma's book too. Picture Perfect - For me this was the 5th of her Aliso Creek Novellas. They can be read in any order though. I was so excited to read Gemma's story. I think her story is my favorite! She and Drew had been best friends for so many years. They had each been through many relationships. I loved watching them take tentative steps toward a more romantic relationship between each other.

Lost Then Found: As always with Heather's book, I was immediately taken into the story in Lost then Found.  Arie is an instantly likable character.  I also enjoyed that we were able to get to know Valentina a bit in this book, as well.  Valentina is an ex-girlfriend of Drew's that I have been curious about.  I really like the novellas in this series and I have become a huge fan of short stories.  Arie has a lot happen to her in this "short" story and she handles herself well.  Dustin is a high-powered producer who seems taken with her from the start.  Their relationship hits a few snags at the beginning, and one at the end that I didn't see coming, but enjoyed.  Each of these novellas are unique and are fun, fast reads.  They do not need to be read in order, either.

This was a fun read! First of all, I was excited to see this series being offered as a box set! I enjoyed all the stories but my favorites were the first (Picture Perfect) and the last (One Chance). There are five main friends but they don't all appear in every story. There are four girls and one guy: Liz, Gemma, Arie, Jess and Drew. The last story is about Valentina, who isn't part of the original five, but became friends with them when she dated Drew. I enjoyed their stories and how they each found someone. Their life situations are all so different and that made each story unique and interesting. Even though they were short, I felt like I was given enough information to understand what the characters were going through. I liked that I was able to read them without having to search for the next one. The way they're written, though, you can read them in any order and they don't give anything from the other books away. I understand why Ms. Moore did that, but since I read them back to back, I really wanted updates from the other couples I'd read about. I liked that the stories moved quickly, but some of the endings seemed a little rushed. Maybe a reunion book would be nice... Content: There are a few minor swear words here and there and some adult situations. There is also some passionate kissing but all of the stories are clean! I received a copy of this book to review. My opinion is 100% my own.

I love these authors and I will always read anything written by them. They are good clean romance novellas that are sure to just entertain. No, the stories are not necessarily connected but that is the purpose of a novella. They are each standalone stories with a similar common thread. Read and just enjoy being entertained.

The stories were boring and other than brief mentions of the other people there was no connecting to make this a series. I read all four books hoping for a final conclusion but got nothing. Will avoid other books.
