Discover the magic of New York Times bestseller Melissa Foster's writing, and see why millions of readers have fallen in love with the Love in Bloom series.

Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she escapes the prim and proper symphony to vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, and determine if she is living life to the fullest or missing it altogether.

For the first time since developing the second largest search engine in the world, billionaire Jamie Reed is taking the summer off. He plans to work from the Cape and spend time with his elderly grandmother--and falling in love is not in his plans.

From the moment Jamie and Jessica meet, the attraction is white-hot. Once-overly-focused Jamie can think of little else than sensual, smart, and alluring Jessica, and Jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. But when Jamie's business encounters trouble and his attorney and best friend intervenes, he proves that the brown-haired beauty is too distracting for Jamie. To make matters worse, it appears that Jessica might not be who she says she is, turning Jamie's life--and his heart--upside down. In a world where personal information is always one click away, Jamie must decide if he should trust his heart or watch the woman he loves walk away.

JESSICA AYERS COULD hold a note on her cello for thirty-eight seconds without ever breaking a sweat, but staring at the eBay auction on her iPhone as the last forty seconds ticked away had her hands sweating and her heart racing. She never knew seconds could pass so slowly. She’d been pacing the deck of her rented apartment in the Seaside cottage community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, for forty-five minutes. This was her first time—and she was certain her last time—using the online auction site. She was the high bidder on a baseball that she was fairly certain was her father’s from when he was a boy.

“Come on. Come on. Come on.” Fifteen seconds. She clenched her eyes shut and squeezed the phone, as if she could will the win. It was only seven thirty in the morning, and already the sun had blazed a path through the trees. She was hot and frustrated, and after fighting with her orchestra manager for two weeks about taking a hiatus, and her mother for even longer about everything under the sun, she was ready to blow. She’d come to the Cape for a respite from playing in the Boston Symphony Orchestra, hoping to figure out if she was living her life to the fullest, or missing out on it altogether. Finding her father’s baseball autographed by Mickey Mantle was her self-imposed distraction to keep her mind off picking up the cello. She’d never imagined she’d find it a week into her vacation.

She opened her eyes and stared at the phone.

Five seconds. Four. Three.

A message flashed on the screen. You have been outbid by another bidder.

“What? No. No, no, no.” She pressed the bid icon, and nothing happened. She pressed it again, and again, her muscles tightening with each attempt. Another message flashed on the screen. Bidding for this item has ended.

She stared at the phone, unable to believe she’d been seconds away from winning what she was sure was her father’s baseball and had lost it. She hated phones. She hated eBay. She hated bidding against nonexistent people in tiny little stupid phones. She hated the whole thing so much she turned and hurled the phone over the deck.

That felt really, really good.

“Ouch! What the…” A deep male voice rose up to her.

Jessica crouched and peered between the balusters. Standing on the gravel road just a few feet from her building, in a pair of black running shorts and no shirt, was the nicest butt she’d ever seen, attached to a tanned back that was glistening with sweat and rippled with muscles. Holy moly, they didn’t make orchestra musicians with bodies like that. Not that she’d know, considering that they were always properly covered in black suits and white shirts, but could a body like that even be hidden?

He turned, one hand rubbing his unruly black hair as he looked up at the pitch pine trees.

Yeah, you won’t find the culprit there.

His eyes passed by her deck, and she cringed. At least he hadn’t seen her phone, which she spotted a few feet away, where it must have fallen after conking him on the head. His eyes dropped to the ground…and traveled directly to it.

Jessica ducked lower, watching his brows knit together, giving him a brooding, sexy look.

Please don’t see me. Please don’t see me.

He looked at the cottages to his left, then to the pool off to his right, and just as Jessica sighed with relief, he crossed the road toward the steps to her apartment. His eyes locked on her. He shaded them with his hand and looked down at the phone, then back up at her, and lifted the phone in the air.

“Is this yours?”

She debated staying there, crouched and peering between the railings like a child playing hide-and-seek, hoping he really couldn’t see her.

I’ve been seeked.

Darn it! She rose slowly to her feet. “My what?” She had no idea what she was going to say or do as the words flew from her mouth.

He laughed. God, he had a sexy laugh. “Your phone?”

I really enjoyed my complimentary copy of this book, this was my first time reading Melissa Foster's work. The plot is interesting, but predictable overall. The characters are very easy to relate to even tho they are very different from me, and each other. This is a quick, easy read. I even learned a little, of course I'm not a musician at all. There are explicit sex scenes. You can skip or skim them if they are not your thing, but don't let that stop you from reading this book.

I was so excited to read Jamie's love story! He's the "big brother" of the Seaside Crew and I quickly fell in love with him and his grandmother, Vera when they were first introduced in Seaside Dreams. Neither Jamie or Jessica were looking for love when it fell into their laps, but they were willing and open to taking a chance and it paid off big time! Jamie's working on not being so focused on work to dedicate more time to Vera and Jessica is at a point where she has to make some serious decisions about her career aspirations - what better than a summer romance to throw a wrench in their plans, right? What's new love without drama, right? As a multi-millionaire, one can't be too careful and Jamie's best friend and company attorney uncovers information that threatens to make or break their relationship. You want to hate Jamie's best friend because he truly comes across as a slimy creep. It was a great reminder that there are times in our life that we have to truly evaluate the people we let into our inner circle. I've mentioned before that the close knit friendship among the Seaside friends is very endearing to me - in Seaside Sunsets you get more insight into the depth of their friendships that dates back to their childhood. It was great to see how quickly Jessica was accepted into their circle and to see Bella, Amy, Jenna and Leanna (the "Seaside girls") take her under their wings.

Melissa Foster has a way of drawing me in from the very beginning and keeping me drawn in until the very end. Once I pick up one of her books I never willingly put it down, and I do everything that I must have it put down for as quickly as I can so that I can get back to my book friends. All of the characters in Seaside are relatable and likeable in one way or another. Different aspects of them remind me of different people I know or have known throughout my life. I love the relatability and likeability of the characters and their circumstances. I always really like Melissa's male leads. They're always kind, compassionate, generous, yet really strong and "alpha" without being controlling or manipulative, they're just honest, down to earth men in love. They ain't got nothing on my hubby, of course. But, they're the kind of men you hope will win the heart of your best friend or sister. Jamie, of course is no exception. He's handsome, genuine, protective, honest and all around likable. I loved Jessica too, of course. I thought she was really sweet and I can definitely relate to her two very different sides. A lot of times her personality sort of clashed with itself, for example, in some situations she's very vulnerable, yet in others she's very much in control. With her mother she comes off sort of meek, she's actually very strong. I really like the multiple sides to her personality. It gave her a lot more depth and made her much more relatable as I think we all have moments where our personality changes and differs in particular circumstances. Seaside Sunsets is funny, engaging, sexy, sad, and happy...all the things a good romance should be. I really enjoyed reading it and couldn't put it down!

This is my first book by Melissa Foster and I can assure you it will not be my last! I loved everything about this book. I would love to be apart of a group just like the Seaside Girls. Jessica’s innocence is what makes this story for me, it is unusual for someone in their twenties to not have much experience of things  like eBay and relationships, but after leading such a sheltered life devoted to playing the Cello it is pretty understandable. I loved the chemistry between Jessica and Jamie and in fact I loved them as a couple. period. Melissa has done a great job with this, and though it part of a series having never read the previous ones I didn’t feel like that it was a problem. This book is definitely easy to read as stand alone, but the OCD in me now want to go out and get the rest to complete the story. I can not wait to read more by Melissa!

I enjoyed reading Seaside Sunsets. It is an imaginative, dazzling, romantic read that explores those shimmers of happiness that define our lives, regardless of our circumstances. When the talented Jessica Ayers decides to take a break from her stressful work as a musician it is because she wants to experience what a normal life is. However, the start of her holiday is anything but normal. First of all, she accidentally hits a stranger with her mobile phone which she throws from her apartment out from sheer frustration because, well, gadgets don’t always do what you want them to. She then falls in love with the attractive and steaming-hot, sexy Jamie and from there on the course of her destiny is changed. Their ensuing relationship changes her “sensation of being alive.” Sadly, their worlds are poles apart, which makes their desire for each other all the more potent and poignant. Jessica must choose between chasing the dream of a normal life or returning to the rigorous discipline of life as a musician. Meanwhile Jamie stops to reflect on his life choices and discovers that what is most meaningful to us and makes us happier is not always immediately recognisable. Get ready to dive in and read this romantic captivating book. It will make you look forward to your bedtime reading.

I love Melissa Foster, but this is my favorite of her books so far! Jamie and Jessica both have a strong family connection, but they're brought together through the love of their friends, a group of misfits who visit the Cape every summer. Their connection is instant and VERY hot! But they both are holding back a part of themselves because of who they are and their pasts. Jamie and Jessica have a lot of peaks and valleys in their relationship, and it doesn't look like they can get past them and come together. This book can definitely be read as a stand alone book, but why deprive yourself of the rest of the series when you can read them all? P.S. Wait until you get to the third date! Have a glass of ice water handy to cool yourself off! I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

There are many things I have come to rely on Melissa Foster for.   The fact that I know that when I pick up one of her books, whether within this series or not, I will not be able to put the book down and when it ends I will sigh and be happy.   Another is that I know that I will find my newest book crush and get to visit some of my old favorites.   I also know that when I finish her books I will dream of them and think of them after I am done.    Melissa Foster is an author that I never hesitate to recommend, knowing that she will entertain all my friends just like I always am. Seaside Sunsets is set in my new favorite location, The Cape.   It has all my favorite women enjoying their men and living life to the fullest.   These ladies are my book friends; they are the people that I wish I could hang out with.   As Jessica gets to know them all my heart is warmed with how accepting they are to her.  They don’t question why she is at The Cape and who she is.  They just accept that she is there for the summer and has caught the attention of eligible bachelor Jamie.  The sparks fly immediately between Jamie and Jessica.  The attraction is obvious, yet incredible sweet and sensual.  Jamie, raised by his grandparents, has been taught to respect women and the respect he shows Jessica proves what a gentleman he is.   I have read all of Melissa Foster’s books in this series and each one is my new favorite.   They keep getting better and better.   When I see the email asking for a review show up in my mailbox, it is an easy yes and I put off all my other reads immediately.  I happily recommend this book and this entire series to everyone looking for a fun, easy, and entertaining read.   SEASIDE SUMMERS are the newest addition to the LOVE IN BLOOM series **CONTENT WARNING: Due to mature content, recommended for readers aged 18+**

I have been a big fan of Melissa Foster since I started reading about the Bradens. When I discovered she was starting the Seaside series I really wanted to be a part of it. Ms. Foster is such a talented writer and with each book I become a bigger fan. So far we have read about Bella and Jenna. Now it is time to hear from one of the male members of the group. Jamie is Vera’s grandson and a tech billionaire. You wouldn’t know how much money he has by the way he lives and carries himself. He’s as down to earth as the rest of the gang.  For once Jamie is taking the summer off to spend time with his grandmother and friends in the Cape. Now enter the new resident of Seaside, Jessica, who captures Jamie’s eye. This book had me laughing from the very beginning and let’s just say that being by the pool that day is very interesting! Jessica Ayers is part of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Instead of continuing with non-stop hours in front of her cello she decides to take the summer off and what better place than the Seaside community?  It was so much fun reading about Jessica and experiencing this close knit community from her perspective. You become so familiar with how these characters interact with one another from book to book.  This interaction flows very nicely from one story to the other no matter who you are reading about. After reading the first book I knew that this would be someplace I would love to be a part of and I experienced that through Jessica’s eyes. She wanted to be a part of this group of friends and they in turn had no issue with including the new girl. Now don’t get me wrong……there are parts of this book that had me wanting to knock someone in the head with it but what’s a good book without all the drama? Mistakes are made and misunderstandings are blown way out of proportion. Not all distractions are necessarily a bad thing. They can keep things interesting. This was without a doubt another winner for Melissa Foster. She just keeps gaining momentum with each book! I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next! Thank you so much for allowing me to read this one early on for review purposes! ***I give it 5 out of 5 stars!***

Melissa Foster did an excellent job of painting a vivid image in the reader's mind about what the Cape seemed like. The characters were also well done. Each individual personality stood out without overpowering another. Jessica Ayers is a 27 year old professional cellist looking to experience and have a "normal" life for the summer. Her mom has been micromanaging her life and getting her to focus on her orchestra career. She's lived a sheltered life and had very little for a social life. Being in the Cape and the people who reside there, Jessica experiences many first in her life. Jamie Reed happens to be a billionaire computer geek. He programmed his own search engine and built his empire from the ground up. He's taking the summer off from work to spend time with his matchmaking grandma, Vera. He lost his parents at an early age and was raised by his grandparents. He spent a lot of time burying his feelings behind his work. Jessica and Jamie are an adorable couple. Their relationship starts out fast. Jamie tries to spend as much time as he can with Jessica, with the help of his grandma Vera. Jamie helps Jessica learn more about herself and who she truly is. They're both playful, hard working, and values friendship, something Jessica didn't realize she was missing before. Just like most couples, Jamie and Jessica have their ups and downs. Now, Jessica has been welcomed into the Seaside Sisters. The Seaside Sisters are always finding ways to get into trouble. They're a fun loving group who support each other. The Seaside Sister keep the story very amusing and you never know what to expect with them. The Seaside Sisters reminded me a lot of many of the friends I've made through high school and college. Seaside Sunsets can be slightly confusing as a stand alone because you don't have the back history of who all the characters are. (I received this ebook through Beck Valley Books Book Tour in exchange for a honest and unbiased review)

Seaside Sunsets by Melissa Foster is an hot Contemporary Romance. #3 in the "Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers" series, but can be read as a stand alone. Although, I would recommend reviewing the others in this series. Check out, "Seaside Dreams" and "Seaside Hearts". Jessica Ayers and Jamie Reed's story and what a story. Jamie is a Multi-billionaire internet search engine creator. Jessica drops her cell phone, literally out of the sky. Faced paced and filled with smoking hot romance, a bit of conflict, everyday life, and wonderful characters. So far, Ms. Foster has once again weaved a story of love and romance. A must for any romance reader. I look forward to the next installment. *Received for an honest review from the publisher* Rating: 4 Heat rating: hot Reviewed by: AprilR, courtesy of My Book Addiction and More

Foster can certainly tell a story that gives you a wonderful roller coaster of a ride. She turns just the right phrases to make you feel as though you're sailing on a strong summer breeze or crashing into the ground at light speed.  Her prose is strong and I didn't feel the story lagged at all - each scene was purposeful and moved the story without bogging me down in details. (However, as it was my first Seaside novel, I admit to being completely lost as to who was who, and with whom, for the first half of the book. It's an unfortunate nature of the beast with a series.) The characters, Jess and Jamie, are wonderfully drawn and their romance is filled with the excitement of the first few weeks of love. But when reality intrudes upon that beautiful time, the way in which these characters handle it, and each other, left me feeling as though they were real. They work through it as grown adults would, and while my heart hurt for them as I watched the process unfold, the hope that weaves throughout the story held tight and led me towards a fully realized, believable, and happy ending.  The secondary characters are well-developed, but as they have or will have their own books, I wasn't surprised.  Seaside Sunsets is marketed as a stand-alone novel within a series that can be read independently. However, I encourage you to read the other two prior to reading this one - as this was my first Seaside novel, I was initially turned off by the antics of the women in the first few scenes, and it left a bad taste in my mouth as they appeared to be making fun of Jess. I think that, had I been privy to their friendship outside of Jessica's view (which was as unassuming as mine, being as I was also "new to the group"), I  feel as though I would've not had an immediate dislike of them. It felt like high school...and not in a good way. The book would've been stronger without what I'm calling the thong scene, but maybe I'm missing the humor because I don't have the vantage point of books 1 and 2. Don't let that stop you from reading, though - I think it's an enjoyable read, perfect to chase the winter blues away. Plus, it takes place in Wellfleet, MA, on the Cape - one of my most favorite places in the world! Four stars. (Disclaimer: I was provided a copy from the author for an honest and unbiased review.)

Seaside Sunsets has been my favorite of the Seaside Summers books so far. I really related to Jessica taking time off to discover herself. I have gone through that myself in life which made me like her as a character even more. I find when I have something in common with the character it keeps me more interested. Her meeting Jamie and finding love was just an added bonus to her vacation for her. The ups and downs of their relationship almost had me in tears but in the end I was so happy with how it turned out. I loved losing myself in this book and can't wait to get the next one started. Melissa Foster sure knows how to please her readers!

Needing a break from her prestigious job with the Boston Symphony, Jessica Ayers rents an apartment for the summer at Seaside Cottages. She finds an unexpected, but pleasant distraction in Jamie Reed. Jamie wasn’t looking for love, but when it literally hits him up-side the head, he can’t deny it. Their attraction for each other is so strong that they spend every moment with each other. When a huge problem surfaces with Jamie’s multi-million-dollar business, he finds out how detrimental his distraction has become. This in turn brings disastrous results to their short-lived relationship. Will they be able to look past the doubt and learn to trust each other again? I love how the girls of Seaside Cottages seamlessly included Jessica into their group. This makes me want to be included even more. And of course this wouldn’t have been complete without the escapades of all the girls. Jamie and Jessica’s story was such a sweet romance. I felt like Vera, watching it blossom. I have now included on my bucket list a summer seaside at the cape, or anywhere for that matter. I have always loved the beach. This just made me love it more!

It’s no question that I love all of Melissa’s books, but there was something about Jessica and Jamie that I did not want this story to end. I loved their chemistry. I loved Jessica’s innocence. I love the Seaside girls. Period. Jessica got pulled into their typical shenanigans and became a part of a group of friends that I can only wish to have one day! I cannot wait to finally see Tony get his head out of his rear and woo Amy – and I loved that the Ryder boys were a part of this Seaside story! I have missed those sweet and hunky Ryder boys. Everything about this story was so sweet. I really did love this story and I felt like I could very easily be a part of the entire story. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next Melissa Foster story!

First of all... this cover is so perfectly Jamie and Jessica. Not all covers look like the characters do in my head... but that IS Jamie and Jessica. Second of all... my book reviews for Melissa Foster's books should probably just start being called Melissa Foster author fan-girl crush posts. I've loved Jamie's character since he was first introduced with his grandmother, Vera. Before this book begins Foster even notes that "before I started writing this novel, I thought it was going to be difficult to find the perfect woman for Jamie Reed, but the minute I met Jessica Ayers, I realized it wasn't going to be difficult at all". She was oh so right. I can say that I was in love with Jessica by page 2. (Any girl that chucks her phone off her deck after being outbid on ebay is a friend of my. There are reasons I no longer bid on ebay.) Jamie and Jessica truly are perfect together. They're both extremely successful professionally for their ages. Geniuses at what they do. But... they've also both decided to take a little break for the summer. Put their focus a little more on life... or in Jessica's case, finding out what life outside of the orchestra and her mother actually is. Like the rest of the Seaside Summers couples... the cottages seem to be a place of magical destiny. (I'm truly happy in my marriage and with my family and life... but boy would I have loved spending a summer at those cottages. Chunky dunking with the girls while sipping some Middle Sister wines and, again, some margaritas. And, of course, experiencing a romance that only Melissa Foster seems to be able to create. I swoon. Totally swoon.)

It is no secret that Seaside Summers is my favorite series by Melissa Foster.  The friendships and love in each book keep me wanting more and she doesn't disappoint!  Melissa certainly keep me interested and my heart filled with love while I was hooked on Seaside Sunsets! Oh Jamie!  We've known Jamie since the beginning of our love the Seaside Sisters.  Finally we get to know him a lot better while adding a Sister!  The smart and very handsome Jamie Reed takes a breather and spends a little time at the Cape, where he meets Jessica Ayers.  Jessica is running from her every day life to find answers to questions about who she is and what she wants to do for the rest of her life.   While you read along on the journey of Jamie and Jessica, you'll find your heart happy, sad, confused and most of all full.   Their relationship came easy, until outside sources stick noses where they don't belong.   Most of all though, I absolutely love the way Bella, Amy, Leanna and Jenna accept Jessica as their own.  They love Jamie but can see just who Jessica is.  They fell in love with her, just as Jamie did!

Seaside Sunsets is book #26 in the Love in Bloom series and is book #3 in the Seaside Summers series but can be read as a standalone. Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she takes a vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Jamie is at the cape with his grandmother Vera. He invented the next Google search engine, making him one of the most sought after business and dating targets. His conversation is so different with Jessica because she has no idea who he is or anything about what he does, causing Jamie at first to be skeptical yet seriously intrigued. I enjoyed reading about the secondary characters from the other books in the series. They made me feel like I was part of the group observing the romance between Jamie and Jessica. **CONTENT WARNING: Due to mature content, recommended for readers aged 18+**

Another fun Seaside love story. I have now read 3 of 3, and am sure I will be reading the 4th. These are not great literary manuscripts, but are great fun and a nice break from all the seriousness we are bombarded with daily. Great friendships and love stories are a nice diversion and important to remember that life is good and it's up to each of us to remind others to live and enjoy life to it's fullest.

Seaside Summers is a new favorite series of mine. I love all of the characters, and enjoy getting to know them all better with each book. In Seaside Sunsets, I learned a lot more about Jamie, the boy-next-door that grew up with the Seaside girls. Jamie has a tragic past, which kept him closed off to a lot of the world outside of his family and friends. He is very successful and enjoys focusing on his business. But all of that changed when he met Jessica, a sweet girl who lived a sheltered life. Together, Jamie and Jessica discover more about the world and each other as their romance blossoms. They must overcome some tough times together, and learn if their love is strong enough to come out the other side. Jamie and Jessica's story is my favorite so far. I loved reading about their individual characters, getting to know some of the background characters in the story a little better. I identified with Jessica so much, and watching her grow before my eyes was very eye-opening for me. I can't wait to read more of Jamie and Jessica's story in future books in the series.
