This Time, More Than Their Love Is On The Line

Former Navy SEAL Commander, Liam McAllister, was neck deep in the Mexican jungle on a contract assignment for a highly classified sub-set of Department of Homeland Security. When Liam discovers a conspiracy that goes deep and spans decades it makes him sick. He asks his mentor at the DHS to provide him an intelligence liaison with Naval experience to help him ensure justice is served.

Liam was stunned when Addison Sanders walked through the door. She was a blast from the past and a punch to gut, a woman he'd loved and lost. But this buttoned up Addison was a shadow of her former self. He'd hardly recognized her but nothing could disguise her intelligence and heart, and Liam quickly finds old flames reignited.

With her help, Liam and his team start to close in on the dirty forces who are intent on covering up decades of crimes. They soon realized the corruption reached farther than anyone could've imagined and it isn't over. Now Addison is a target. When the clock starts ticking, Liam risks everything to make sure that Addison is protected. Will they finally have a chance on the future they lost out on before?

A Seasoned Romance that brings you aboard the first page. A stand alone read in the #SilverSeals series Liam Herne McCallister, older, wiser and out of the Military, is on a mission for Silas Branson (head of a highly classified division in Homeland security) that shakes the very foundation of the Navy. He's called on his nephew, Declan (owner of #ShadowAlliance another series of Ms. O'Leary's) to assist on this mission--so excited, more books coming!! They need a liaison to the Navy, that doesn't have to answer to the Navy, and in walks Addison Sanders! Liam's love from 15 years ago. The flames are still there, burning quite steadily, but first, the mission, which turns deadly. Think Cold Case, which isn't cold at all, and Criminal Minds, where profiling is legal and a necessity. Very intense with action here and some truths that finally come to light about why he had shut down on Addison, making her the one to walk all those years ago. She too, had her own news to share from these last fifteen years. Of course there's the wit, the comedic relief, the wonderful comradery of a team, new characters, all of it meshing, with an HEA that was truly feel so good. #2ndChanceRomance #MilitaryRomance #NavySeal #SeasonedRomance #SuspenseSisters #SealAtSunrise

Liam is on a mission with one of his friends that hits close to home. While on the mission, his team make a horrific discovery and start investigating. When the team needs a Navy consultant that doesn't answer to the Navy, Addison Sanders joins the team. Liam and Addison have history and sparks fly. Caroline is pretty amazing and should get her own book as well. I couldn't put this down once I started it!

This is a brilliant book by the very talented Caitlyn O'Leary it is not only part of the Silver Seals series by the Suspense Sisters but also overlaps into the Night Storm series Where we learn't how Liam leaves the Seals. We also have him working with the men of Shadow Alliance another of her wonderful series. He has donated his life to the Seals but when an executive decisions put his men at risk he disobeyed orders meaning he left the Navy under less than ideal circumstances all of his men and fellow officers believe he did the right thing and will endeavour to clear his name Meanwhile Silas Branson leader of Bone Frog Command a highly classified divisions of Homeland Security wants him working for him but it isn't until a mission he is working points to someone killing female naval personnel over a number of years that he commits He will need a Naval liaison but someone who doesn't answer to the navy during the mission and Silas sends Addison Sanders who was a naval intelligence officer but now works for the CIA. Liam and Addison have history fifteen years before she walked away when Liam wouldn't or couldn't commit. The attraction between them is still intense do they have a chance at a life together this time has Liam finally laid some of his emotional ghosts to rest and do they have a future. First he will have to solve the crime that is embedded into the navy and keep the woman he loves safe.

Holy swoony alpha yummy!! Liam makes my heart pitter-patter and melts me with his protectiveness! Working with members of the Shadow Alliance team, Liam needs just a little more help to figure out the puzzle pieces to a nightmarish evil plan they accidentally encountered. And in walks Addison - the woman who's haunted his past for years. Liam doesn't waste a moment in claiming Addison for his own, knowing that he can't risk losing her again, and finds himself facing the challenge of winning her heart once more. I adore Addison. She's a darling mix of strong and soft, of vulnerable and determined. She knew herself, survived some hard hits, accepted what she was given, and wasn't afraid to push through the tough to make the good she was after become solid and secure. Liam is the kind of alpha hero I am drawn to over and over again -- older, confident, strong, protective. He's got the right kind of take-charge attitude to make others heed, but is gentle enough to balance out the tough. He chose what was right over what was easy, and wasn't afraid to fight for what he wanted. I really wanted to become Addison just so I could have Liam's attention focused all on me. I love the family dynamic that was brought into this story from both Liam and Addison's sides. Although I have to admit, since Deacon is a favorite CO'L character, I was partial to seeing more of him around and giggling at his and Liam's banter. And can I just say, that last rescue scene? That was a breath-stealing moment of beauty (and anxiety). Mixing an engrossing bad-guy story line with an irresistible love story, SEAL at Sunrise captivates from beginning to end. I didn't want to walk away and once I finished, I immediately dove back in to reread favorite moments. This is the kind of military romantic suspense love story I treasure and look forward to revisiting often.

This story is part of the Silver SEALs series, each one written by very talented authors. If you are new to the Silver SEALs, the government has just formed a new group made up of former military men, for situations that need immediate action without the red tape. The leader of the group, Lt Commander Silas Branson. This time the story belongs to former Navy SEAL Liam MacAllister. When he’s contracted for a mission in Mexico, he comes across not only with his intended assignment, but also with dog tags of Navy women who had disappeared as well as some bodies. When he requested an intelligence liaison, to further the investigation, he comes across Addison Sanders. His former lover whom he hasn’t seen in 15 years. A woman he never forgot and has always loved. As the two reacquaint themselves, the plot thickens and time is of essence. Liam gets help from his nephew and the group of former military men that work for him. The story is action packed, with suspense, whodunit, hunky good guys and romance. But it’s more than that. It’s a story about family, and the possibility of second chances. My only con was the fact that there were many secondary characters from the author’s previous books. If you have not read them, it can be confusing at times trying to remember who’s who. That said, it’s a well written story and a great addition to this wonderful series. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Edge-of-your-seat thriller with a sweet second-chance romance! Liam and his team are hot on the trail of a serial killer, and their CIA contact is none other than the woman whose heart was broken by Liam fifteen years earlier. Addison certainly doesn't want a repeat of the heartache from before, so if Liam wants a second chance he's got a lot to prove to her first. The clock is ticking as another victim is kidnapped, but this sailor certainly is no victim! Caroline proves to be harder to control or subdue than the previous victims, exposing the killer's obsessive nature and leading to a whole new set of clues to follow. This part of the story has some dark moments as the killer's cruelty is made clear, but even this evil is no match for the triumph of the human spirit. Declan's McAllister Enterprises is on board to provide all the backup Liam might need, including Dec, Cooper, Hudson, Conroy, Laird, and Brannon. The camaraderie among all these heroes is one of this book's best parts. The intelligent humor is just a little on the dark, "gutsy" side and I absolutely loved it. Addison and Liam's love story was a long time coming, but it was well worth the wait. Theirs is a love for the ages, and I thoroughly enjoyed their story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
