I have followed Orlagh's career closely, intrigued with the range of her talent, and ever again amazed how she can breathe new life into familiar tunes. This new Christmas album is touching, warm, gentle, yet vital with Orlagh's heart and moving voice. She puts her heart truly into every note, ande treamed with Meav ande David, for the first time in a LONG time, makes me feel Christmas indeed! Jadced and bored with the usual yluetide fare? Listen to this, and be warmed all over again.

Beautiful Christmas CD. Orla's voice, usually haunting, is soft and tender on this wonderful CD. She sings with so much passion and feeling. If you loved Orla in Celtic Woman, you will love this too!

This delightful Christmas album from former Celtic Woman Orla Fallon is the CD of music performed on her PBS Christmas Special currently airing on PBS stations throughout the U.S. (though the PBS-pledge CD contains some additional songs). Her angelic voice appears in each song-particularly appropriate: Christmas music sung by an angel! She is joined by an eclectic group of guests: country music star Vince Gill, former Celtic Woman Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, the Irish choir Anúna and David Archuleta of American Idol fame. This is a top-notch Christmas album which can be treasured every year! My own favorite is Bells of Christmas, written by musical director Dan Shea which can hold it's own among Christmas songs anytime, anywhere-listen and see if you don't agree! Shea plays an amazing variety of musical instrument on the album, joined often by delightful fiddle player Mary Pitchford. A delightful team bringing us a Christmas album which all the many fans of Orla Fallon really should have to treasure for all Christmases to come!

As a huge Orla fan, I eagerly anticipated her 1st post CW CD (The Water is Wide) & was so disappointed. It sounded more like a 10 year old child than the wonderful, haunting woman's voice I heard several times in person, on the CW CD's & on Orla's pre-CW CD. This Christmas CD is marginally better than The Water is Wide-she now sounds 14 & occasionally there's just the faintest hint of the Orla I had come to know & love. The good news is that her harp (mostly missing from The Water is Wide) is back. The various duets were the best part of this CD. Please, Orla, go back to singing for grownups. I miss you.
