Overview

Cookie "Hunter" Knox was good at his job, infiltrating behind enemy lines was one of his specialties. His SEAL team relied on him to do his job, just as he relied on them to do theirs. Ever since two of his teammates found a woman that completed them, their dangerous Ops seemed a bit more intense. Cookie knew if he had a woman who belonged to him, he'd never let her go. Little did he know the SEAL team's latest mission to Mexico would change his life forever.

Fiona Storm resigned herself to the fact that it was highly unlikely she would make it out of the jungle alive. Kidnapped by human traffickers, abused, and without family or friends looking for her, Fiona knew wishing for rescue was as realistic as having a big, juicy hamburger fall from the sky. Unbeknownst to Fiona, the SEAL team, including Cookie, were on the way, but their assignment didn't consist of rescuing her.

**Protecting Fiona is the 3rd book in the SEAL of Protection Series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but it's recommended you read the books in order to get maximum enjoyment out of the series.

I am enjoying the fantasy of this series... Who doesnt love a hot, alpha male with a soft side? But, they are just too short! 160 pagtes on average. Fast reads.....

I really didn't need the tissues for this. The ending on this one wasn't so rushed. I wasn't going to buy them all, but I changed my mind. Good storys about real life.

She wasn't expected Cookie and the team where in the jungle to find a kidnapped Senator's daughter. They split up. Cookie found Julie and not knowing because Julie didn't say anything he found Fiona. She had been held for over 3 months. No one was looking for her. He found her to be the strongest, bravest women he ever met. And he was hooked.

This was a good story. I like Ms. Stoker's storylines. She really is a good writer and I highly recommend her Protection series of this group of Seals. Having said that, i only rated this book 3 stars because while the writing was able to draw me in, as any good writer could do, I kept getting pulled out of the story because of two items. One, anyone sexually abused for months by a variety of men wouldnt easily fall into bed with another man like she did. I get that she became dependent and felt safe but I imagine she woild have freaked out at one point. Two, nowhere did the author write that the character got STD tested before they started their heavy pettjng sessions and considering the number of STDs in the world, that should have been included. Other then those items, good book, i recommend buying.

Fiona is this brave, tough woman who gets rescued by this awesome, gorgeous Naval Seal with the nickname Cookie. Of course he falls hard for Fiona which of course is what every woman would like to happen to her. Right? Right! Anyhow Fiona after she gets back to the US finds she has no job and no apartment or money, but lucky for her this hot Seal who also is crazy about her wants to take care of her and even hands over his plastic so she can get a new wardrobe. Oh and he likes to cook too. Is this guy for real? We can all use some fantasy in our lives and it was fun to live vicariously through Fiona. I really enjoyed the story and will be reading more by this author.

I am enjoying the stories. Who doesn't love strong alpha males out to protect! I appreciate the care the author took with the sex trafficking part of the story. I have to admit I'm not in love wiith the sex scenes, not enough romance. I just flip through it and move on. I agree with some of the other reviews, the stories could be a lot longer.

I absolutely love Protecting Fiona. The third book in the series brings us Hunter who is on a mission with his team to rescue the daughter of a high profile government employee. Soon after Cookie locates his initial subject, he discovers Fiona chained by the neck, obviously there much longer than his initial subject. Throughout the story Fiona demonstrates her strength and general bada$$ery. Give it a read, it's fab!
