From USA Today bestselling author Willow Winters comes an emotionally gripping, standalone, contemporary romance.

It was never love with Daniel and I never thought it would be.
It was only lust from a distance.
Unrequited love maybe.

He's a man I could never have, for so many reasons.
That didn't stop my heart from beating wildly when his eyes pierced through me.
It only slowed back down when he'd look away, making me feel so damn unworthy and reminding me that he would never be mine.

Years have passed and one look at him brings it all back.
But time changes everything.
There's a heat in his eyes I recognize from so long ago, a tension between us I thought was one-sided.

"Tell me you want it." His rough voice cuts through the night and I can't resist.
That's where my story really begins.

Possessive is an emotional, gripping story. Filled with heartache, guilt and longing! Possessive will take you on a journey of obsession and jealousy...it's emotional, raw and captivating. - Beyond The Covers Blog

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

WOW I don’t know what else to say. It was intense. What do you do when the person you feel is your soulmate is with someone else? Especially your own little brother. How do you live with the regrets. I loved reading this book. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to see the next book. I voluntarily review an advanced reader copy of this book.

POSSESSIVE - IS THOUGHT-PROVOKING & BURNS WITH PASSION. Inside; family drama, suspense, danger, a life-threatening incident, secrets, incidents that tug at your heart, jealousy, betrayal, and sizzling intense romance. Addison and Daniel both have guilt feelings of a horrific past that haunts them. They met when Addison was a teen while she was the girlfriend of his youngest brother. Daniel had desired her then but she was not his, he kept his feelings hidden; his attitude toward her was aloof and at times he was curt. Addison also harbored feelings for Daniel. Now years later after not seeing each other, they meet by chance at a bar. Their happy ending comes but not before the secrets of the past come out. RELISHED every moment of this engrossing read. The reality of this story pulled my heartstrings as I teared up. To me the author has done a fabulous job weaving the character's lives in this story; they are engaging, and vivid scene descriptions are captivating. The backstories help the reader in visualizing what makes up their personas. I truly loved Daniel; he is possessive, protective and also has redeeming qualities; his love for Addison shines in this story. Addison's love for Daniel is strong. The story is also about forgiveness, understanding circumstances beyond your control and unconditional love. Finding this to be a gratifying read; {Of my own volition without any stipulations I reviewed an advanced reader copy.} Without, reservations I recommend this read.

Lord have mercy on me... Mercy... Have you really seen this cover? Like really really seen it? And the blurb? Could it be even more darker? I'm doomed... Doomed I tell you... Willow Winters has an intense and breathtaking writing full of feelings and emotions that will make you blush and desire some stuffs as well as cry your eyes out. True story... Possessive is her latest release and tells the stories of Daniel and Addison. Daniel is the ultimate Badass, with a cocky attitude that doesn't take shi*** from no-one. He's used to hide himself behind that facade but when Addison gets into the picture... Addison is a beautiful woman lost between sadness and her past. And I can't say more without spoiling. I won't do it do I'm done talking. After reading the blurb I thought one thing and now, after ending it I'm stunned. I'm speechless. I'm doomed. Holly smokes, what the hell happened? The plot is superb, very well written, super intense and engaging. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. Questions were popping up like popcorns and I needed the answers. I just needed to know and I was almost insane, almost... There were parts of the story that I wanted to hurt someone... Jesus these two are more stubborn than a rock. But there were others that I wanted to cuddle them. I've cried, I was scared, I was stunned... Bottom line I'm still shaking. Just get ready for the most amazing, intense and breathtaking rollercoaster ride of your life. Trust me... Willow what are you doing to me? Are you trying to give me an heart attack? I'm still shaking and overwhelmed. I can't even start a new book. I need to regroup and calm my emotions... I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Willow has really outdone herself with this one! I feel like a broken record saying that about every book she writes, but it's true. If you read/buy anything this week or month, make it Possessive!! This book is the epitome of a page-turner. Daniel and Addison truly come to life right off the pages. They're damaged and heartbreaking, yet electric, passionate, and it gets hot! The writing flows with emotion and you will cry, maybe even scream, but you will fall in love with this story. I highly recommend this book!!

Raised in a series of foster homes, Addison Fawn never had anyone she could count on until at age seventeen, she met Tyler Cross. He made her laugh and was always there for her but she could never love him the way he loved her because of the instant connection she felt to Daniel, Tyler's older brother. Addison and Tyler's story ended in heartbreak. This is Addison and Daniel's story which takes place several years later. This story is emotional and absorbing and has some truly heartbreaking moments as well as the heartwarming and sweet ones. The writing and storytelling is great and I couldn't put this book down. I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.

If I ever need to read Dark Romance novels, Willow Winters is my go to author. She is so good at making you feel all the feels. You may break a few times when you read her books, but at the end you manage to piece your emotions back. Possessive is another favorite added by Willow. I felt so heart broken for Addison when she is introduced to us. I truly felt her sadness and self torment through the pages. Daniel I was at first leery about. I couldn't determine his roll with Addi and Tyler's past. As the story went on, I fell for Daniel more. His pain and guilt eating him alive had me in tears. When he reunites with Addison, I finally feel that there is hope. When the truth comes out of Daniel's past, betrayal comes through and Addison feels broken all over again, but 10 times worst. I was not sure these two had enough strength to make it. But that is what Willow does. She sheds the layers within her characters until you just see through them. Yes their pain and torment may lead them where they are at, but their inner strength always will free them. The love Daniel and Addison have is a once in a life time love. They are each others halves. Possessive has the drama and angst. The heat level with the sexy scenes is intense! You will be shivering at the end. I am truly hooked on this book and will definitely dive into Carter's story next. Watch out world, the Cross brothers are ready to take over!

I couldn't put this book book dow. It was just so forbidden and had that mystery to it. It had that built up tension that I love also. It was written beautifully I cannot wait until Carter's story!

This was another great book. Willow does such a great job at providing depth to all her characters. It's a beautiful story between two tormented souls, Addison and Daniel, who both want the same thing but guilt stands in their way. It's a sweet, heartbreaking, tormented love story with a bit of mystery and suspense. You won't want to put it down. I highly recommend this book!!

A forbidden desire, love, and longing. What would you do if the one you wanted was already claimed by another? What would you if the man you really belonged to was off limits? Two souls that were destined to be together but couldn't until one beautiful soul was lost. Addison has finally moved on from the lose of Tyler. The man that loved her unconditionally and gave her everything she could ask for, except that her heart belonged too someone else. The death of Tyler was too much and she had to get away, leaving behind the one man she really wanted. Blaming herself for Tyler's death, Addison took a long time to get to a place where she finally felt somewhat whole again. That is until she runs into Daniel. The strength and confidence she felt quickly vanished and the guilt and sadness took its place. Addison was more angered that Daniel did not acknowledge her. Angered by this she's set her eyes on getting him to notice her and finally release what she's had building up inside her all these years. Daniel couldn't believe his eyes. Addison? Of all the places he would run into her, he never thought it would be that night. Addison has haunted his dreams, his thoughts, his heart. She has always been his and now it is time to make it happen. So when he walks into the bar again it is no coincidence she is sitting there. It is no coincidence he sits next to her. It is no coincidence he acknowledges her. It is no coincidence it's the night that he claims her. Addison is overwhelmed by Daniel, but that is nothing new. He has this power over her and now there is no one to stop them. Finally together, it's not the fear of what it can be, but their past that haunts their future. Can two soulmates finally find their forever? Will the past jeopardize their happily ever after? I loved Daniel and Addison. The pain, weakness, fear, longing, need, lust, desire that they both had for one another poured off of the pages and consumed me. Willow Winters ability to make them so real captured me and held me a prisoner in their story. I found myself praying that the things they did was for the better good and in the end their pain and struggles would be worth it because they would finally find one another. Daniel and Addison have imprinted themselves in my soul and will be with for forever.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Willow Winters has done it again! This is such an emotional book that you will not want to put down until the very end. Addison and Daniel have such a strong connection and though they met went Addison started dating Tyler: Daniel's youngest brother the way Addison and Daniel feel about one another is so intense. They never express their feelings toward one another yet they seem to sense the other feels the same way. Addison is torn because she feels that she needs to remain loyal to Tyler. Daniel would never do anything to hurt his brother or Addison. Eventually Addison can not deny what is in her heart and breaks it off with Tyler and leaves the town they live in after tragedy hits that she somehow feels responsible for. Daniel also feels responsible for what happens. Daniel also feels he needs to make sure Addison is safe. Forward five years and Addison and Daniel meet again. they no longer keep away from one another. Will they reveal what they know is between them? Can they get past what happened years ago and forgive one another and themselves and find a way to heal from it? this was such a roller coaster of emotions and an undeniable love so deeply felt. Addison and Daniel are truly the definition of soulmates! One of Willow's finest.

Possessive is a great, emotional read. Daniel has a darkness that follows him; Addison, a sadness. Together they can both try to forget the past, if they can make “together” work. Possessive has a satisfying ending better than a HFN, yet introduces you to the next book to follow (and gets you salivating for the next book). Willow is a fantastic writer who easily draws you into her characters. This is her best book yet, IMO, and I’ve read a lot of awesome Willow Winter books!

So this is Possessive by Willow Winters. I am a huge fan of hers, and her recent books have been on the darker side. This story is a spin-off to 'She Asked For It.' So it still has a dark shade to it, but not to bad. Daniel, we met briefly in 'She Asked For It' is part of a drug-dealing family. He has four other brothers and they are all very close. His youngest brother is dating Addison. Who Daniel is secretly in love with. Addison is dating Tyler, but when she meets Daniel, she starts getting feelings for him. Addie starts practically living with the boys family because her foster family sucks. So that makes the feelings even harder to hide. But what happens when one night something tearable happens and you blame yourself? Neither Addie or Daniel had any say in what happened, but their guilt still haunts them. Like I said, this story isn't as dark, but it is really good. Daniel has a lot of explaining to do. And Addie can decide how much her love for him means to her. Will love to conquer all of these two? I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.

"Some people you're meant to say goodbye to, others you aren't." ~ Addsion Willow Winter's has written another phenomenal read that leaves you sitting on the edge of you seat while reading it. Addison and Daniel were always suppose to be together but things kept them apart. When they finally got together they are explosive and beautiful. This book is part of a series and can be read as a standalone. Can't wait to read the next book.
