This is a good one.It pulls all the emotions out of me. Walker, Dane, and Joy's past is hard to digest sometimes. No one should have to go through what they had especially Joy. My heart broke for her. Fate though is giving them a second chance of a happy future. Problem will they get in the way of that happiness? When Joy arrives in Middleton that is one of my favorite moments in the book. Seeing the gang taking her under their wing made my heart so happy. It has it's gasping moments when the past rears its ugly head and tries to put a wrench into everything. This is one of my favorites in the series so far. I was sucked into the book right from the beginning. I was so invested in these characters. I wanted them to get their HEA so bad.

I loved this sexy polyamorous romance. The book blurb is very accurate and I really felt for Joy. She was hurt very badly by the men she cared for most. They deserted her twice, once to join the military years ago, and then again less than a year ago, leaving her alone and pregnant. When they are reunited, both Walker and Dane send her mixed signals, (mostly due to their fears of being unworthy of her) but never fear, the Hot Rides gang is there to sort them all out! This series has wonderful characters who have formed themselves into a family by choice and they are always warm and welcoming to newcomers. The great writing and steamy, interesting storylines make for a great read. 4.5 stars. I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.

There are soooo many ways to lose a woman. It's how you win her back that counts. Boy to Dane and Walker have their work cut out for them. Joy has so many reasons to not hook up with them, even if they are her dream come true. Knowing each other for years, familial ties and smoking hot connections don't make for easy relationships...theirs is something else. Love, love love it.

Jayne Rylon provides another excellent edition to the power tools universe. The book is a stand alone but reading the others first makes it even better. A HEA after a some angst and struggle, throw in some danger and good friends to help. My only complaint is the wait to see what happens next.

A hot addition to the series! One of the things I love about these series is how people in the established relationships mentor the newbies in their relationships. That kind of caring is key for them, especially since (like in this story) many of them have poor parent examples. In "Joy Ride", Joy is a fairly clueless mom with good intentions who get the positive support she needs in that role from the women who are members of the Hot Rides/Rods family. Walker and Dane get guidance from the men. That works really well in these series, and keeps some of our favorite characters from the previous books around so we can see how their lives continue to develop. Joy, Walker and Dane have had a hard road. Growing up in a MC environment and not learning how to communicate well had made life even more difficult for them. I love that Walker and Dane's relationship keeps them together, and how Joy completes them. Sexy times are sometimes pretty emotional, and I love how bossy Walker is! Arden is a cute baby bonus. We'll see how the series continues to develop! I read this as an ARC and chose to review the book.

Secret baby alert!!! This is not a drill, this is a secret baby alarm!!! One of my most favourite tropes in the whole world, with a ménage, slay me now *faints* Joy, Dane, and Walker aren’t really big on expressing themselves clearly. Dane is who I liked the most, and even as the most submissive of the trio, he at least had his head on straight and was emotionally aware. Walker is an idiot, a bonafide, back and forth, can’t make up my mind, boo hoo, idiot. His redeeming quality is you get it, why he is the way he is, but you still want to slap, which, Dane actually does at one point, Go Dane! Joy is doing the best she can, given her history with them both, and her present. She is really trying, but the uncertainty from Walker, affects both her and Dane, and can’t allow them to move forward I love this world, I liked these characters, and this story had a lot of emotion and sparks in it, along with some smoking shower, bath, and bedroom scenes

Loved it. Very well written. Walker and Dane thought leaving Joy after a night of Joy (lol) would be best for her but they left her something behind. Joy is on the run from her stepfather. So she runs right in to Walker and Dane's hands. Can they find happiness and stop the running. I really love how the characters from the other books make appearances. A must read. Can't wait for the next one.

This is a very intense, emotional filled read that will literally make your heart ache for this trio. To say that Walker, Joy and Dane have a complicated history is as big of a understatement as saying that the ocean is wet. These are complicated characters, they have flaws and have made a few poor decisions and mistakes along the way. There is lots of angst, drama, raw emotions and sizzling heat to be had as the engaging storyline unfolds.

Another great Hot Rides story! We met best friends, Walker and Dane in book 3, Hard Ride, but Joy Ride stands alone pretty well. You'll miss a lot of hot stories though, if you don't read the first 3 books. I think I've seen someone else call Jayne Rylon the "queen of ménage" romance and I can't disagree with that. I enjoy all types of ménage stories but MMF ones are among my favorites and she writes great ones. The blurb tells you all you need to know about the story. The emotions run high in all three of the MCs (main characters). Walker and Dane are much more than just best friends. When the woman they both love, Joy, shows up carrying a baby they are speechless. Joy doesn't understand why Walker and Dane walked out and left her after the explosive night the three of them had together. She had to get away from her evil stepfather and when she had the chance to slip away, she came looking for them. This book is packed with lots of emotion. Walker and Dane both feel they've let Joy down in the past and aren't good enough for her. They enjoy the relationship they have with each other but know that Joy is the missing link between them. Joy Ride is really hot, just like the others in this series and it's a complete story with Walker, Dane and Joy getting their HEA. The last couple of chapters help set up the next book in the series, Rough Ride, and I can't wait to read it. An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
