I am so honored to have read this charity anthology. The authors that created this anthology are amazing people to make sure that every penny goes to Jordyn and her family. I have read many of the authors that took part and some are new to me. Fighting For Our style by Heidi McLaughlin was great. Super sweet story, I loved Ajay's connection with Evelyn. It touches a bit on the difficulty of late pregnancy but still shows the excitement and the happiness from the parents. I have read some of the books in this series from the author but not all of them and it was easy to follow. Pure Rose by Kathy Coopmans: this is a short, sweet and a little dirty read. Rose dedicated her life to making sure her daughter was happy and well cared for even if it meant not taking the time for herself. Now that her daughter is grown its time for Rose to find love and life life for herself. Waking Up Forever by Amy Briggs: this is a sweet read, lots of mishaps that could deter a lot of couples. I need to go back and read how the characters met because this short story left me wanting more! Crush by Adriana Locke: This was a fun story about Delaney and Boone meeting in a laundry mat. This one left me wanting more of these characters. This is the first I have read by this author and I look forward to reading more. Love, Rose by Shari J Ryan: This one was one of my favorites in the set. It was heartbreaking, but heartwarming at the same time. I wasn't expecting the punch this one gave my heart. I would love to get more from these characters I love how Rose decided to write letters to her stupid ex. Reunion by Julie A Richman: This is the first I have read by this author. It was a good story, taking place at their 10 year class reunion. I didn't see where the story was going but it was a good read. Coming Home by HJ Bellus: I really enjoyed this story, it was another one of my favorites, I would love more of these characters. Annie has come home from college and has to break some news to her father, she is worried about his reaction but knows in the end he will still love and support her no matter what. Roses for Rachel by Sam JD Hunt: This one is my absolute favorite. I loved how Sam wrote in the copper roses to the story. I loved the push from the deceased spouses that pushed the two together. Sam never disappoints, she knows how to write stories that pull you in and totally leave you wanting so much more! Finley and Sabastian by Tara Leigh: I didn't connect to the characters in this story as much as the other ones. It was still a good read. Whiskey and Roses by Kaylee Ryan: This one is another one of my favorites in this anthology. I was so glad to get more of Saylor and Rhett (Whiskey) This follows the main characters in Hey Whiskey. This story shows you that even after 15 plus years together your relationship can still be as hot as ever. These characters are some of my favorites from Kaylee but then again I have loved everything I have read from Kaylee Ryan I will update with my reviews of the stories I still have to read as I finish them. I encourage all readers to one click this anthology as it is for a very special cause! It is also available in paperback and hardcover!

Ok, so from the outset let me say that this will be a whistle stop review of each of the books in the anthology, not because I don’t have a lot to say that I don’t have a lot to say, quite the opposite I have so much I could say that if I waffled on for half as long as I usually do you would be reaching for the Vodka! I must first applaud each and every one of the contributing authors, this was a Tour de Force and you smashed it! Fabulous work for a totally worthwhile cause. So here we go: Fighting for Our Forever....Baby style This was a delight by the sensational Heidi Mclaughlin, all the main characters from the series were present and each brought back their own little bit of magic. I would say you don’t really have to have read all the books in the series to get the gist of what this is all about but in all honesty…why wouldn’t you have these characters are ones you do not want to miss. Fantastic read, great to keep up with everyone and to welcome a new arrival- 4.5 Stars Pure Rose I am a huge Kathy Coopmans fan, so reading this was total joy! Two fantastic primary characters who each had life experiences that could have for all intents and purposes kept them at arm’s length. I loved the dynamic that they were both single parents and the complexities that that brought to the situation. They fought hard to avoid the inevitable but, in the end, chemistry does its own thing…luckily! A great read – thoroughly enjoyable – 4.5 Stars Waking Up to Forever Amy Briggs is a new to me author and I will admit that I liked the story, it just wasn’t my favourite of the anthology. A clever reincarnation of a fairy-tale this had everything you would expect and a little bit more – 3 Stars Crush Adriana Locke, you smashed it! Totally knocked it out the park, I was aghast by the time I got to the end. Sensational!! – Fantastic 5 Stars! Love, Rose Another new to me author, I will admit now that Shari J. Ryan has a new fan because this was so much more than a short story, heck I have no idea show she managed to get so much into those relatively few pages. It was angsty, it was classy, it had it all and I ran through every emotion I had, I was sure that I was going to be left hanging but nope, the author played her trump card and by the end I was suitably sated. Loved it – 5 stars. Reunion Julie A. Richman knows how to take her readers on a journey and for much of this I wasn’t exactly sure either what way the story was going or more to the point whether I would like it when it got there. But the author kept the surprises coming and I couldn’t help but become invested. These were characters that I took to heart. Knockout – 4.5 Stars Coming Home I’ve read practically everything written by this author and if you haven’t read HJ Bellus before you are in for a treat because she makes sure you know what it is like to fall in love with her characters. This was a real journey, a lesson learned that not everything goes the way you want it to go but that you roll with the punches and make the best of what you have. I loved Annie, and I am sure you will too. Favourite story of the whole anthology – 5 Amazing Stars Roses for Rachel Sam JD Hunt gave me a story that I can honestly say I hadn’t expected and for most of the read wasn’t actually sure that I liked. It was different, who people brought together under totally unique circumstances with more than a little help from their dearly departed…quirky - 3 stars Finley and Sebastian

Well I had to one click this as it's for such a fantastic cause and so far I have read Fighting Our Forever by MJ Fields and Crush by Adriana Locke. To be honest, I dived into these first as I was already familiar to the linked series but it really wouldn't have mattered whether you were new to these authors or not. Both these were fab little short stories that you can simply jump into. I really enjoyed these and can't wait to read the rest of this anthology!

Something for everyone in this 17 parts novella collection. Anthologies are a great way to discover new authors while catching up with the latest offering from some of your favorites. Jordyn’s Army certainly fits in with that idea, plus it’s for a good cause. I haven’t read all of the stories yet but these are my favorites so far. Heidi McLaughlin~ Fighting For Our Forever… Baby style This is a short and sweet novella set in the world of the ‘Beaumont’ series. It might have been helpful to have read the previous books, but it was still a good enough story. Could be taken as a teaser read to tempt you to explore the series from the start. Cute, fun and lots going on. Adriana Locke~ Crush Well, what can I say. I love all things Adriana, especially when those things are set in Linton, Illinois, home to the Gibson brothers, Peck and the rest. This short, fast-paced and steamy novella was like getting a cupcake with extra frosting. So yummy you just want to devour it in one go, but also at the same time… you want to savour it. Eat that frosting one tiny lick as a time. Mmmm. so good. Yes, Crush was as good as all that… and more. Delaney and Boone were so hot together. Talk about steaming up the windows!! Loved it, will be hoping for more from these two at some point.
