From bestselling author Willow Winters comes an emotionally gripping, standalone, romantic suspense, USA Today bestseller!

It was only a little lie.
That's how stories like these get started.
But every lie I told, he saw through it.
I think in his heart he knew I was broken; he felt my pain as if it was his.

And that's what changed everything.
He's the reason it all fell apart.

Sometimes it's a single moment that alters everything in existence.
Sometimes it's the fall of dominoes, lined up in a pretty little row and designed so that each one will cause more and more pain.
In a single day, it's all changed, and there's no way to take it back.
I didn't know what would happen. But secrets and lies ruin everything.

"I was captivated from the very beginning, and I couldn't let go until the very end. Winters wove an outstanding tale, which has an even better message within its pages." - Kendra @ Reads and Treats

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

I found this book intense sometimes hard to read because of all the different emotion it evoked while getting lost in the story. I was angry at times and wanting to cry at others. Most of all I wanted Dean and his Allie Cat to find the happines and peace they both found in each other's arms. Thank you Ms. Winters for writing a story that deals with a subject that many deal with every day and have no where to go and no one to tell. This book was not just about what the three words " She Asked For It" but it was about child abuse and the lasting effect it has. Ms. Winters deal with the subject of rape and the aftermath of living with it, how many keep silent and their rapist thinks he can get away with it by saying " she askedfir it." I will reread this book many times I . I really think many women should read this book. There is a very strong message inside. I want to thank Ms. Winters for saying just because a woman might have different needs that are not quote "normal" unquote does not mean she is asking for it. In essense this book is a intense emotiom jounrey into the building relationship of two broken young souls who are searching for love, acceptence, and someone to believe in them. That is what Dean and Allison found with each other. Bravo Williow Winters!!

Reading this was intriguing at first but the buildup of more never panned out. The reader needs to know what is being alluded to in order to keep interest in the story. Otherwise, the cat and mouse game falls flat.

A daring book that I couldn’t put down for a second. Willow Winters has written a thought provoking, darker, compelling novel that has won me over. She Asked For It is a slow build up of emotionally crafted turmoil of mystery, audacious and fearless characters and plot. You think by just reading the synopsis you know what the book will entail, but believe me, you don’t know the full context until you are fully submerged. The message and subject matter can be sensitive for some, but Willow wrote carefully and brilliantly; never crossing harsh boundaries. Respecting those lines within writing. Ally and Dean are perfect for one another. Both having darker pasts in which have made them who they are now. Cravings they can’t deny with each other, but one enlightening evening changes everything for their future. I was beyond engaged with these characters. I can’t say enough words on how Willow crafted them. I really liked Ally with how brave and fearless she is. She knew what she liked regarding sexuality, to which she owned it. Dean was very likeable as well, even though he gave off a cocky vibe from the beginning. To help get you in the mindset of She Asked For It, you can read the prequel Too Easy. This new adventure won’t be cut and dry, it’s raw, dark and powerful. With a mystery and a couple twists thrown in, this story kept me guessing every step of the way. Willow keeps producing elaborate novels that readers flock to and this latest novel is a perfect example of her talented skill. 5 Stars

When your life mission is driven from pure revenge, what happens when life throws a curveball and your once thought out plan takes another direction? Allison is set on taking down the one who changed her life forever. Once upon a time when she was free to explore the world with no worries or regrets. It's funny how one night can change it all, sending Allison's life into a tailspin. How that one night changed not only her best friend Sam's life but Allison's as well. Dean had a rough life. Losing his father was painful, but watching his mother move on so quickly was even worse. Anger, that is what fueled him day in and out. Unable to control his impulses he lashed out on anyone around him. Not feeling loved by his own mother left a gaping hole in his heart and that hole just grew larger and larger feeding the anger more and more. His only choice was to leave, leave his home and be on his own. Might as well since all his mother cared about was herself. When a girl set out for revenge meets a boy who feels unloved, their relationship is doomed from the start. Allison wasn't expecting Dean, and Dean wasn't expecting to fall so hard for Allison. As much as Allison fought her attraction to Dean, the harder she fell. He wasn't supposed to be part of the equation. She had a plan and Dean was interfering with it. Dean didn't want to let Allison in because letting her in made him vulnerable. He was already programed in believing that he couldn't be loved, so letting his guard down would only prove that true once again. But what the heart wants is what the heart gets. In the end, Allison games end up hurting the Dean the most. The one man that accepted her for who she was and loved her unconditionally. She Asked for It was heart wrenching, provocative, dark, vulnerable, dramatic and emotional. Willow Winters blew me away with this one and I get excited waiting to see what else she will come up with for her next book. Phenomenal, writing, story and author! Thank you once again Willow Winters!

Don’t Let the Title Scare You Away!!! Wow! A powerful build up to an even more powerful climax. Dean and Allison are meant to be together, but their dark pasts keep getting in the way. Allie-Cat, as Dean likes to call her, has a dark past with secrets that could rip the two of them apart, if either one gives up on this tough-to-hold-on-to relationship. Don’t assume you know what this book is about by the title alone. Read this suspenseful book for yourself and you will be shocked by Allie-Cat’s determination that is being fueled by her past demons. A great read. Told from a dual point of view, so you get inside both Allison & Dean’s head. HEA with no cliffhanger. I highly recommend this book!

This author's books are dark themed and go beyond the usual scope of a simple romance. This one is no different. But unlike her recent duet series, this is a single, standalone book. What is different here is the message. I cringed when I saw the title of this story because of everything that instantly comes to mind when I hear those words. But this author has managed to bring a completely different meaning to this phrase with this story. While she's woven a hint of the traditional connotations into a related backstory, she has shaped the phrase to fit a new meaning as it relates to Allie and Dean. And it's a beautiful thing of love, patience, understanding, and acceptance. The writing is stellar as is the pacing. The tone is dark and desperate. There's a mystery element here - and I did partially figure it out. But ultimately, I did not guess it correctly. There are no subtleties in this story. Allison owns her sexuality and loves being a tease. She loves a chase. And Dean is all about chasing. I loved Dean. He was a bit of a sassy, sexy, super-alpha jerk at times, but with Allie, he melted. Both are broken, but it's as if their jagged edges meet perfectly and somehow, fate kept trying to push them together. Their desire to be together screams from the page. When they're apart, the desperation and hunger is ever-present. And when their together, the passion and desire explodes. The epilogue gives us a tiny glimpse into the future, but I would have wanted a bigger span of time. Just to make sure they were stronger together after everything they had been through. /I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. This did not affect my opinion of the book or content of my review./

Allison and Dean are both lost souls who meet at college there is an instantaneous connection between them and the chemistry is undeniable. This book blew me away. When it was revealed why the title is “She Asked For It” I was astounded as I totally didn't see that coming but then all the pieces fell into place. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to find out how it ended, whether or not they got their HEA. I loved reading this book so much I literally cannot wait until Willow’s next book.

SHE ASKED FOR IT has a grim mystery to it so don't let the title fool you. A thought-provoking story that seized my full attention from the start; could not stop reading until the end. An unconditional love story about two people who find each other but a clouded past threatens to crush the sunlight they could have. The reality of this story pawed at my heart to empathize with Allison and Dean; misty eyed was I visualizing certain scenes as they played out and cheered in delight at the conclusion of their story too! Inside; suspense, family drama, bleeding-heart moments, action, humor, powerful vivid scene descriptions, and fiery passionate sensuous romance. Dean and Allison meet at college; Dean's come-hither looks and provocative innuendos melt Allison but she plays hard to catch which only makes him want her more. The shadows of Allison's past wreak havoc with her heart. Emotions skyrocket as Dean continues his chase to capture the woman who holds his heart. The two do get their happy ending but getting there is quite a whirlwind story. RELISHED this engrossing story and I applaud the author for writing it. Behind the blazing hot romance is quite an impressive story. I adored Allison and Dean together as they do make a perfect match. There is another character that I was also truly fond of; Daniel one of Dean's friends; as I see him as the voice of reason. The author shows that trust and honesty are pivotal in a lasting relationship. A most gratifying read; a story to be talked about and a fabulous book for a reader's library. I loved this story so much {I volunteered to review an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this read.

“For forgiveness. For love. For a life without pain and regret.” The main characters each describe themselves at some point in this novel. And both give a 3 word answer. I thought I’d sum up the book in similar fashion. Brave. Thought-provoking. Fearless. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book this fast before. She Asked For It is an absolute page turner. I could not put it down! That definitely worked in my favor because I also held my breath throughout much of it. I had no idea how things would shake out and being on edge while reading this amazing book was absolutely euphoric! Willow Winters has created something truly special. It’s unlike anything else I’ve read thus far and really touched me in a way I didn’t expect. She Asked For It is truly brilliant, in that, it’s entertaining and unapologetically sexy while also making a bold statement. It’s thought-provoking and definitely timely considering today’s social climate. I adore the heroine, Allison. Much like the author, she makes a decision and a statement, regardless of what others may think or say. She’s unconventional, bold, selfless, and fearless. Her story broke my heart, luckily Dean helped piece it back together! Both main characters, Allison and Dean, will appeal to readers. They’re both beautifully broken, but make the most of their situations. They’re perfect for one another and embody the true message of the book which is to live your truth and be the person you want to be. Is this book for everyone? Probably not, but I’d recommend it to anyone. If you’re looking for a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, make you feel all the feels, and question everything, this one is for you!

What can you think this book will tell just by reading the tittle? Since this isn't my first parade lead by this author I know that I'm about to embark on a breathtaking story. Willow Winters is the bomb. Between mafia books, to heartfelt stories she has the ability to hook me up from the beginning. Her writting is beautiful, simple yet intricate, heartfelt, dark with a touch of suspense and some hot stuff as well. She Asked for It is her latest release and tells the stories of Dean and Allison. They are two lost souls, drowning in their own problems and secrets and that can be a problem. And let's not forget that these two are stubborn as hell. Jeez... I knew that this lady would create a masterpiece but this book was so much more. The plot is super engaging, intense, breathtaking, wild, very well written and fast paced. Let's not forget the ups and downs that this book provides. Jeez. One minute things were going in a way and the next bamm it turned upside down in a sec. And lets have in mind that this book is surrounded by a dark and mysterious cloud. The interation between the characters is raw and amazing but let's not forget their problems and concerns. The hot scenes are amazing and the fact that these two had previous relationships made their connection stronger. How can I talk more about this book without spoil it? I can't so it's better to not say anything else. This book will give you love, heartache, friendship but also some drama and troubled pasts. Oh Willow what are you doing to me? You're getting better and better by the minute and I'm so glad for the chance to witness it. But let's get down to business!! Lol. This series will have more books right? Because there are characters that deserve their own stories. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Going into this one, I wasn't sure what I'd find. I knew what I expected, and I also knew that this author would most likely twist that into something else. I was right about that - in part. This dark, gritty read gave me a bit of both the expected and unexpected. I'll admit that I wasn't completely on board with Dean and Allison, but I couldn't really put my finger on why. Then, as the story progressed and the tension builds, it all came together wonderfully and things fell into place. I'd love to elaborate more, but any details would give spoilers and this one really needs to be read spoiler-free. Suffice it to say that Willow Winters has woven a tale that is tragic, heart-breaking, and shocking, and laced it with a bit of hope.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. OMG! This book was more than I expected from the title and blurb. It was so much more and blew my away. From the blurb I had ideas of what may have happened to Allison and Dean and then when it was finally revealed (especial with Allison) I did not see that coming. This book is so well written. It makes you aware of how others may think someone deserves based on how they behave. My heart went out to Allison and all she went through and why she felt she needed to be the way she was. Dean was someone who was dealt a hard life and all he wanted was to be understood and loved. The unconditional love he has for Allison was awesome. I loved how he pushed a bit to help her understand she was worthy of love and that there was nothing wrong with her. An emotional read about love, hope and fate and how two people can get through anything if they are willing to let love in. Another great read from Ms Winters!

"Once you're shattered, you can be glued back together but the cracks are there." ~ Allison Usually when you start reading there are things that will make you have a love/hate relationship with the male lead character, but in this book my love/hate is with the female lead character Allison. She is very broken and with the love of Dean she is slowly being put together. This book is a very intense read that may hold triggers for some reader. If you dare to read Allison and Dean's story you will be put through the ringer and hopefully you will come out not as shattered as Dean and Allison. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
