Zee + Annmarie and Tan + Jubilee.

Forever. No exceptions.

They were to have the picture-perfect life together. Everything was all planned out.

Jubilee was to marry Eitan and Ezekiel was to marry Annmarie. That's how it was always supposed to be from the moment that they met. Textbook, right?

Eitan and Annmarie die in a freak accident that never should have happened, leaving the two survivors reeling.

Sixteen years later, Jubilee and Zee can't even be in the same room with each other before things begin to deteriorate. Too many memories. Too much pain. Not enough forgiveness.

They're like hellfire and holy water, and neither one of them is willing to admit that they're wrong.

Then one day things change, and all of a sudden, they're looking at each other like maybe they aren't each other's enemies after all.

Zee and Jubilee had a different take on their story. They both belonged to the others sibling when they were younger, and the siblings were alive. Then when the years have passed them by, they both were present somewhat in each others lives, but only just tolerated each other. One drunken night is all that it takes for their lives to be flipped upside down. There hasn't been a book yet of LLV that I haven't loved and devoured in one sitting. And this one was no different.

I have to say that I thought this book was a hoot! Zee and Jubilee together were freaking hilarious. My favorite part … the skunks! Phenomenal! But what I really liked was how well the characters played off each other. It was interesting to read the blurb and then to get the meat and potatoes with the story. The story itself was really good! Zee is very much an alpha male character, but had a very soft center when it came to Jubilee. And it was freaking hilarious when they would start arguing. Their families reactions were also highly entertaining. Jubilee herself was awesome. I know that my best moments in the book were all related to how her character handled something … especially Zee ex! Now there is someone that definitely needed a throat punch! I thought that my favorite book was the first one in this series, but I do believe that IT HAPPENS has now taken top spot for me! There is drama and danger involved, but not in the way that people think. And the end … WTF!!! Now that was crazy on a whole new level. Overall, totally recommend! Storyline was awesome, characters (both main and secondary) really made the book, and the writing was well placed and entertaining. So, two thumbs up from me and happy reading!

A powerful enemies to lovers story! Her sister was his first love ... his brother was hers. A freak accident changed their lives forever, and even years later Ezekial and Jubilee can't stand to be in the same room together. Their dislike of each other is legendary among their family and friends, but when something happens that leaves them no choice but to coincide, they realize the strong feelings they have for each other aren't all bad! The characters were quick to catch my attention, as was the story line. Ezekial McGrew loved her twin sister Annmarie until fate yanked her from his arms. Years have passed and he's never forgotten what they shared or the injustice that the wrong pair survived. He can't help the animosity he feels towards Jubilee ... but getting to know who she's become starts to make him wonder if he's been missing out all these years. Jubilee Cope never found another man to win her heart after his twin brother Eitan. She's working hard and becoming successful, but there's something missing ... and as strange as it might sound, Zee seems to be filling the slot pretty well now that she's in close quarters with him!

Zee + Annmarie and Tan + Jubilee. Then Tan + Annmarie and Zee + Jubilee leaving only Zee + Jubilee. When Zee + Jubilee are left reeling after losing their siblings they can't bear to be in the same room as each other. Now years later they realised they actually do quite like each other... OMG I don't know where Lani gets her ideas from but even her strangest storylines are inspired, she never stops entertaining me!

What a unique couple! Really enjoyed how their story unfolded. Just enough mystery to keep the reader guessing.

Another treat from Lani Lynn Vale in the bear bottom MC Series. This is an unusual story in some ways. Jubilee and Zee grew up together as their parents are best friends. Jubilee and Zee really clash and have all their lives. When they are a little older after being hit by lightening and their siblings are killed in the same strike leaving a whole they both still feel in their life. Still avoiding each other, but both secretly looking out for each other. All is well until one of Zee’s ex enters the bar and being drunk Jubilee kisses Zee and the next morning they wake up in bed together. That is the start of another amazing relationship which LLV writes so well. One warning this book is HOT, as the sparks flying with this couple singed my hands as I was reading. I am really enjoying this series, which is fast becoming one of favourites. So that’s all I am writing about. The story is told in dual povs, and can be read as standalone.
