She needs to behave, or I'll be forced to punish her.

Delaney Underwood is sexy as hell, with a killer body, wicked smile, and a spoiled rotten demeanor. She's a pampered rich girl, thinking she can get anything she wants, whenever she wants.

It pisses me off. I've struggled to survive, and I have the scars to prove it. Delaney's going to make me a wealthy man, once her parents pay to get their precious angel back.

But every time I look at those sassy lips, I wanna put them to good use. Delaney has gotten under my skin and she knows it. Even before I took her hostage, she'd somehow managed to work her way into my blood, and my heart hammers harder in my chest every time she stares daggers in my direction.

She's craving someone like me in her life, whether she knows it or not, and with every bratty outburst, a part of me calls out to discipline her. She needs to be taught a lesson.

And I need her, all to myself. I promised to ransom her off, but once I have a taste of her sweet curves, I'm keeping her to myself.

She's the hitman's hostage and she'll learn to love it.

No Cliffhangers. Safe from cheating. Explicit language & swearing.

WOW! Another good book from Ms. Abbott. She does the hitman stories really well. Lots of action and lots of sex! What more could you want? This story touches on the issues of human trafficking, political corruption, instability of some foreign countries and the vast difference in wealth among different classes. Very interesting story, great locations and really good characters.

This was not my favorite Hitman book by Alexis Abbott. It was still a really great read I just could not get into Delaney she is a young sheltered rich kid, that gets whatever see wants. She gave herself the name ice queen because she fakes her personality so much to fit in. I loved the plot and how the attraction was almost immediately between Darios, her captor. It was lots of action, and pretty fast paced , and they are on the move a lot. When they finally do admit that they have feelings for each other, I thought Darios was still mean and demeaning to Delaney. I think she is so young and naive she just feel in love with the first person that gave her real attention and didn't take her crap. I still loved the smoking hot sex scenes, and I would have loved to had more of the story to see how their relationship grew.My honest review is based on an advanced reader copy of this book.

I enjoyed this story. The characters were interesting. Delaney has fallen into the typical rich girl stereotype, even though that's not exactly who she is. She pretends to be, very successfully, because she found out how cruel the world could be in junior high school and high school. Darios grew up poor and went through a war. He is from the country Georgia and has since become a "criminal" with a lot of the people that he grew up with. It was the way that he knew how to survive. He has a good heart but a rough layer to get to it. He kidnaps rich girls in order to ransom them off to their parents. He treats them well while he has them though. Delaney and her friends get kidnapped when they are in Spain by Darios and his men. Darios and Delaney have an instant connection. They both intrigue the other and they can't stop the connection or the physical attraction, even after Darios kidnaps Delaney. She doesn't know what to do with her attraction to her captor but she quickly gives into it when circumstances show her that he doesn't exactly mean her harm. He is a man that is fine with violence and she gets up close with that. The sex is explicit, consensual and fairly often. It does fit the story and the events that are happening. The characters are well written and as the story progresses we go through their layers. The story kept my attention the whole time and flowed smoothly. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

A good little dark suspense romance story with good action drama and romance. Delaney and Darios seem to work together even though there is a age difference. Enjoyed reading had me hooked. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC of this book.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. Delaney and her friends fly off to Barcelona where they are kidnapped and held for ransom. Darios is the leader of the group of Georgian mafia that is responsible for kidnapping Delaney and her friends. Darios and Delaney are a sizzling hot couple that unexpectedly find love and fight to stay together. This is an exciting and sexy read with sex, suspense, and violence. Fantastic book, I loved it!

My honest review is based on an advanced reader copy of this book. I enjoy these Hitman books. Even though these alphas are Bratva, mafia, etc. and they kill, they do not allow women to be mistreated. They get what they want from their women without using force. They are bad guys that are good. There is violence but not graphic. There is always bullets flying. But, each Hitman is a unique individual and does offer a different story. Give them a shot.

My honest review is based on an advanced reader copy of this book. Another hit from Alexis Abbott. I have read all of her Mafia books and this one is a little different. It kept my attention because I could not figure out how it would end. Without giving away too much, a group of rich girls are kidnapped for ransom by a Mafia group. Ms Abbott provides enough details so that you have a complete visual of the characters and locations which I love. It carries you right into the story. I highly recommend all of her books. I could not put the book down until I finished to see how it would end.
