The Montgomery Ink series continues with a spin-off in Colorado Springs, where a familiar Montgomery finds her place in a new tattoo shop, and in the arms of her best friend.

Adrienne Montgomery is finally living her dreams. She’s opened a tattoo shop with her brother, Shep, and two of her cousins from Denver and she’s ready to take the city by storm with her art—as long as she can handle the pressure. When her new neighbors decide her shop isn’t a great fit for the community, however, she’ll have to lean on the one person she didn’t expect to fall for along the way…her best friend.

Mace Knight takes pride in two things: his art and his daughter. He knows he’s taking a risk by starting over in a new shop with the Montgomerys, but the stakes are even higher when he finds himself wanting Adrienne more than he thought possible.

The two fall fast and hard but they know the rules; they can’t risk their friendship, no matter how hot it is between the sheets and how many people try to stand in their way.

Adrienne and Mace had been best friends forever. When the opportunity to open a second Tattoo shop in Colorado, Mace came with her. There was some resistance from a community member that caused problems several times. Mace got thrown for a loop when his ex-girlfriend dropped off his small daughter and said she was moving to Japan alone (to get ahead in her company). Adrienne helps him and they grow closer. This was a very good story (as all Carrie Ann's are). I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. Lots of hot romance, hot tattoo guys and love. Sigh, so good

Hot bff’s go from friends to partners Addi sinks everything into opening Montgomery Ink Too with the help of her bff Mace and her cousin Shep. Everything starts fine until someone takes offence that a tattoo and piercing shop opens up. While dealing with vandalism of the shop and Mace’s ex showing up leaving his daughter with Mace without warning. Things heat between them and they keep it secret trying to find out what it means and where there friendship is going. I really liked that even though they’ve had feelings for each other neither had romantic feelings till they broke the deal and started getting physical between them. This was the audio book and even though I usually not a fan of a guy doing female voices after awhile I didn’t mind so much. Joe Arden has a lovely sexy voice but I always feel that these would be better with a female and male narrators. Absolutely love this series and the other Montgomery series

I really enjoyed the character development and the storyline for the most part, but the follow through was weak and the resolutions to the two main conflicts in the story were incredibly rushed. I would have liked more input into the vandalism, and more explanation to the Jeanine storyline. Either way it felt like the author put a lot of time and effort into the story, and then hurried up to finish it so she could make a deadline. There were grammatical errors and words missing, and the author would definitely benefit from hiring an editor (or maybe even just reading it again herself).

Another great story from Carrie Ann Ryan. Adrienne and Mace's story was great. It made me laugh and cry. There friendship is one of the best kinds. Adrienne really helped Mace with Daisy. Mace realized he made a mistake and made up for it in the end. If you haven't already read this book, you really should.

First in a series. Spin off from Montgomery Ink set in Denver. I was hooked from the first sentence. Carrie Ann know how to write great books . There are many levels in this story. It will have you glued . This one is a must get. You see a lot of people from her other series. This story is about best friends to lovers. It’s also about learning to start new beginning and finding out who is after you for no reason because they are afraid of change Hero is Mace . Heroine is Adrienne. The Montgomery decided to expand to Colorado Springs. A new tattoo shop with a new place and new beginnings . Adrienne is soo excited about the new shop. She also convinces Mace to join her. Both Mace and Adrienne have been friends for many years to many to count . On their first day opening party a guy walks into the tattoo shop and threatened Adrienne. That her shop is not welcomed there . Mace is also divorced with a small child a girl. Mace wants more time with his daughter. But the ex wife always denies him. Mace gets a surprise one day when the ex shows up with a suitcase and his daughter. She tells Mace she’s on her way half way across the world for work. And he will be having his daughter till further notice. Meanwhile Adrienne has some issues herself and one right move ( in my mind ) leans Mace and Adrienne right into each other’s arms and bed. They have many more of those nights . One small thing keeps on happening to the tattoo shop and it’s vandalism at its best. Who is after them. And Why

I love a best friends story that realize they r made for each other. This story includes all the family from both sides, cute kids and a HEA after a misunderstanding.

Montgomery Ink has a second location in Colorado Springs, welcome to Montgomery Ink Two (MIT), which brings us all new Montgomery's to fall in love with. We start off this new series with Adrienne Montgomery and her best friend Mace Knight. I really enjoyed getting to know this new group of Montgomery's, Adrienne is a strong woman who will go for what she wants and deal with the consequences as they arrive, and what she wants now is her best friend Mace. Addi opens MIT along with her brother, the original MI owners are happy to see their shop expand under the ownership of their cousins. The new shop has some angst surrounding it, but the true angst comes from Mace and his daughter Daisy, who his ex drops off at his home a day before she leaves for Japan for work. YIKES! Being a part-time dad isn't easy but things get a whole lot more complicated when Mace becomes a full-time single dad. The chemistry was great, the plot was good, and all the characters are likable. If you enjoy a friends-to-lovers romance with a bit of angst you'll enjoy this read. Be warned that although this series can be read on it's own you'll probably fall in love with all the Montgomery's and want to read the original series as well. **I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**

There is nothing I love more than a good friends to lovers romance and this one totally takes the cake. Adrienne and Mace had me from the very first page. Their friendship was incredible. Their support and love for one another was so amazing. You just knew could withstand anything. Add in their explosive chemistry and these two were a match made in heaven. The tension between them just oozed off the pages and kept me on my toes. I was totally burning through the pages to see how their story would end. Not only was this story a fantastic romance, but it also had a bit of suspense to it. Someone had it out for Adrienne and her brother Shep. They did all kinds of things to their business, trying to get them out of there. But Adrienne and her family had a strength like none other. They had each other’s back and wouldn’t let anyone run them out of town. Overall, I thought this was a fantastic read. I loved getting lost in the characters and the plot. I easily devoured it in just one sitting. I loved the romance, suspense and seriously sexy good times. Mace was all that and then some. A total dirty talker that will make you blush one moment and swoon the next. He was an amazing match for Adrienne and I honestly couldn’t get enough of these two together. I think this series is off to a really great start and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.

What a hot read. Follow Adrienne and Mace’s story as they go from best friends to lovers. But can they make the friends with benefits transfer into a proper relationship.   It’s quite hard to get your head around all the characters but is a fantastically hot read.

This is a story about best friends it's lovely and delightful entertainment. I enjoy how Carrie's characters are developed, there is drama on top of drama in this spin off of The Montgomery Ink series, Fallen Ink is the first book in the Colorado Springs. This is Adrienne Montgomery and Mace Knight story. Well I must say I'm such a push over for lovers who are friends before they find out that it's love. I really enjoy the way these two characters interact with each other. Even the support characters are essential to the story. But I think that the real reason this book works so well is that the characters are so enjoyable and feels so real. The story is about a beautiful friendship that slowly transforms both characters as it moves slowly toward sex and romance. Warning! When reading the sensual scenes written by Carrie Ann Ryan you may need more than one fan plus a TALL GLASS of ICE COLD Beverage, you will need something to cool you off while reading this story. Plus oh my goodness if you can just imagine a tall man with muscle and tattoos it will make you want change places with the heroine. This is not a book for the fate of heart and please don't dismiss this book as the usual run of the mill story because you would be so so wrong, this is a intriguing, captivating, full of drama with HEA.

Adds and Mace are great friends and have been for a long time. Add I even asked him to work with her at the new tattoo shop they were opening. Things were going good with everything despite the bad luck someone was causing. This is a great story about the new Montgomery’s. Can’t wait for the next book.

This was my first Montgomery Ink story though I have a couple waiting in my TBR Mountain of Doom. The story worked fine as a stand alone and left me wanting to go back and read the books I own. :) The romance was hot, and full of steamy, detailed sex scenes. But Ryab didn't forget the emotional components. Addi and Mace have been best friends for years (friends to lovers, yeah!), co-workers, and now employer and employee. Whew! Ryan did a great job showing the challenges involved in moving from friends to lovers and the risk you take of possibly the ruining the friendship if the romance doesn't work out. Addi and Mace alternately thought things through too much and not enough, reflecting the emotional challenges they were facing. I wish Ryan had spent a little more time on the employer-employee aspect and power imbalance. That was mostly glossed over. In addition to the romance, we saw Mace's complicated relationship with his ex and their young daughter Daisy, and the shop's challenging relationship with certain members of the community. Mace was a good father and one who tried so hard to do the right thing while knowing he was bound to make mistakes along the way. His and Daisy's relationship was both sweet and realistic, as were the parenting challenges he dealt with. I was less impressed with the tattoo shop's community issues. Not that the shop had issues, that was believable, but the people responsible as well as the denouement of that story line were overwrought and over the top. "Fallen Ink" was hot, sexy, sweet, funny, and entertaining. I'll definitely be reading more Montgomery stories. I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

FALLEN INK was freaking awesome! The Montgomery’s are back and they are bringing Ink to Colorado Springs is a new series that I so enjoyed. Adrienne “Addi” Montgomery is opening a new Montgomery Ink, but things are not going fully as planned. There is someone out to shut them down and Addie has figured out that she is letting life slide by. Unfortunately, attraction is also brewing between her and her best friend Mace Knight, and that is causing additional issues. Friends should remain friends, especially if they work together. But passion will not be ignored and when they give in the results are explosive! But Mace has his own issues, such as turning from a dad with visitation to full-time dad at the drop of a hat. Dang but can Carrie Ann Ryan spin a tale of angst and passion! The push and pull between Mace and Addie was great to read. The mystery of their troubles played out through the whole book and ended with a bang! I really liked Addie. She is not a push over and is very strong in both personality and ambition. But she also has her vulnerable side as well. And Mace is luscious! At times dominant and dirty and then sweet and tender. Totally sigh worthy. I think I have just fallen back into love with the Montgomery’s and I am so looking forward to seeing what comes next to this series. eARC through InkSlinger PR

*3.75 stars* I was really eager to get my hands on the Colorado Springs spin off of Montgomery Ink and learning about the other branch of the family tree. We've seen them pop in and out of the other books so this was great. I loved the start and the dynamic between Mace and Adrienne fit the story. Friends to lovers can not work for me sometimes but this was good. I got a bit lost though near the middle to the end as the drama seemed just a bit out of place and didn't fit the story (to me). Don't get me wrong - still enjoyed the story overall just that was my feeling of the flow to the book. Looking forward to more though and seeing where things go for the other Montgomery's!

Another fantastic Montgomery Ink story. I love friends to lovers - the slow burn, the angst of the friendship to romance. This story had great characters, great sexy scenes, and a great romance.

Hot! Hot! Hot! Addi and Mace were unique in that they had been best friends for years before acting rashly on the attraction lingering between them. Then wondering how to handle this new development with causing trouble in the friendship. The friendship is essential to the both of them. Navigating through their changing feelings was tricky. However, add in an unexpected, but wonderful change that allowed Mace full custody of his daughter and the hovering threat to Montgomery's new tattoo shop...life got more difficult to navigate between the two friends/lovers! This book was a little more fast paced than is my preference, but a great story. I loved getting to know the other Montgomery's!

This is a wonderful romance of two best friends who fall in love. Adrienne Montgomery and Mace Knight find themselves leaning on each other as they deal with their own unexpected problems. The chemistry between Adrienne and Mace sizzle as they take the next step in their relationship. This story is an interesting blend of action, tension and passion. I really like the closeness of the Montgomery family and always enjoy their unique personalities. This is an exciting start to the Colorado Springs spinoff and I can't wait for the next story!

Emotionally charged, sweetly sexy, highly entertaining friends to so much more romance that will leave you breathless and craving more..... Adrienne Montgomery is living her dream opening a new shop with her brother Shep and as an added bonus gets to also have her best friend with her. Mace Knight is sexy, charming and now a full time dad to his beautiful daughter that is his whole world. Starting over in a new shop is risky and there are some that are not happy with their new neighbors but in true Montgomery style they will band together and fight for family. Loved it!

I received a free copy of this book from the author. Fallen Ink is the first book in the spin off of the Montgomery Ink series into the new Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs. If you're new to the Montgomery's this is a good start. You'll meet best friends Mace and Adi. Adi and her brother own this new tattoo parlor in Colorado Springs and Mace is one of the artists. These two have been best friends their entire adult lives. Through thick and thin they've been there for each other, but never seen the other as more than a friend. Until now. It's always a toss up whether or not you'll ruin a friendship by taking it to the next level. In this case there's also a child involved. Mace has just taken over full time custody of his daughter. With all the changes in his life he's struggling with wrapping his head around it. Adi is there to help but there's only so much she can do. Sometimes you just have to let the person figure their mess out themselves. I enjoyed reading this book. There's a bit of drama with the shop as well as in the romantic relationship. I hope you enjoy Mace and Adi's story as well.
