You murder a man, and all of a sudden people are scared of you.

Slate Solis went from being a guy that people went to in times of need to an ex-con that people crossed the street to avoid being too close to.

He knows he's done wrong, but out of all of his sins, only one really bothers him—coveting thy neighbor's wife.

Harleigh Belle—the cute little lady that never gives him a second glance.

After seeing her for the first time while he was in prison, she's stayed on his mind for three long years. Each time she comes in to visit with her friend on family day, he can't help but stare.

Then the day comes that he's set free, and he's almost disappointed that he'll never see her again.

Except fate has different plans.

He hasn't been back in his house for more than three hours when he sees her.

Harleigh Belle in all her glory...oh, and her husband that is everything Slate isn't.

He tells himself that her being fifty feet away from him, all day every day, is a complete coincidence. One that he shouldn't take advantage of. The more time passes, the harder it gets to stay away. Until one day, and one very ill-timed thunderstorm, ruin everything.

Who knew that baby-making-weather was a real thing?

Despite having read other books by Lani Lynn Vale I had absolutely no idea what I was getting into with this addition to the Bear Bottom Guardians MC.  What can I say about F-Bomb that will give it the justice it deserves? Slate Solis is an ex-con just released from jail. People used to come to him for help, now they fear him. He is shocked to find out that the woman he has lusted after for several years whilst in jail is non other than his neighbour Harleigh Belle. Despite knowing that he needs to avoid Harleigh, Slate is drawn to her. The chemistry between them is almost electrifying with it’s intensity. Harleigh is a strong and feisty woman who is the perfect heroine for Slate.  F-Bomb is not only a romance, it is a story of brotherhood and the suspense that is throughout the story only added to my reading pleasure. At times the story was confronting as it tackled several hard issues making it a but like riding an emotional roller coaster. However through it all the strength of the writing and the characters themselves captivated me as you cannot help but be drawn in.   Simply put I loved this book and now I am off to read previous books in this series.

Harleigh Belle and Slate Solis, their relationship was one that started out of a misunderstanding. Then when things start coming to light, there's no holding back. I love that another of the Free kids is finding their happy ending. And its always good to see the original members of Free. The little glimpses of Slate that you got in the previous book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series has kept me demanding more of him. And now that I get his book I just couldn't help but love it. Harleigh Belle and Slate are the perfect couple. She reminded me of her mother and the way that Slate was reminded me of her father. And in the end they came together and the perfect couple was created, that balanced each other out. Its just sad to be at the end of the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series, but I know that we will see these characters again in the future.

Slate is such a quiet type and Harleigh is so outgoing and crazy! Even though she sees him in prison she still is curious and thinks he’s sexy. She’s so tiny next to him but just gives him attitude about using his hammock which is so funny! I enjoyed seeing bits and pieces of previous characters from other books. I won’t tell the ending but I kept wondering what was gonna happen about the other people that messed with their worlds and what an ending!! Thanks Lani Lynn Vale for another great story with awesome characters that we can all relate to!!

I was super excited to read Harliegh Belle's book and it was pretty good! I love that this author's characters are sassy as all get out and the alphas are cranky but fall hard for their love's. I have been so curious to read how the H's story was going to go and lets just say I wouldn't mind having him for my spouse! Suspense and humor as always with a fantastic ending for the series!

5 Freaking Stars of Awesome! I just want to start out by saying I LOVED Slate!! The buildup of his character has happened over several books, and he so totally lived up to what I wanted for him! He definitely had some hard knocks and some revelations that I wasn’t expecting in this book, but the connection between him and Harleigh was totally awesome had me smiling and laughing numerous times. And Harleigh … holy hades was she freaking hilarious in this book. Yes, she had some stuff happen in her past that I wasn’t expecting either and was frankly surprised by how her family handled it. Was kind of expecting a much different way, but that wouldn’t have played out as good if it went my way of thinking, but definitely added a bonding element towards the end that was pretty good. Overall, totally LOVED!! The characters were awesome and the storyline was paced well and engaging. I think that this may be my favorite couple so far within all of her series because separately they are great but together they are freaking hilarious. So, definitely two high thumbs up from me and happy reading!

As soon as I met Slate Solis in his sister Izzy’s story, Mess Me Up, I needed his story because I knew that there was so much more than just the protective brother who readers were introduced to and I couldn’t wait to see what Lani Lynn Vale had in store for this honorable alpha male. Then, when I realized who Vale was matching Slate up with, I couldn’t wait to see how he tried to tame the sassy and strong-willed Harleigh and also learn about both of their backstories in order to understand the people they are today. Even though readers were privy to a bit of Slate’s past, I wanted as much insight as I could get for both him and Raleigh because it’s clear that these two are still dealing with some heavy issues and could use an ally, someone who they can confide in, and it appears that they could be that person for one another, even if they had a bit of a rocky start as more frenemies than anything else. I’m always drawn to Lani Lynn Vale’s hero and heroine and the relationship that she constructs for them because not only do they seem to be polar opposites in a lot of ways, but there also seems to be a contrast of emotions that the main characters feel toward each other - a mix of lust, disdain, and curiosity - and these feelings seem to intensify as their story continues, and while it’s clear that the chemistry and sexual tension between them will win out in the end, watching everything play out between them is one crazy and entertaining journey. The brotherhood among the members of the Bear Bottom Guardians club members is illustrated throughout the pages of F-Bomb, and their camaraderie as well as the fact that they have each other’s backs, always, is a defining characteristic of what makes this motorcycle club an amazing one to be a part of for those men who need a place where they truly belong. There’s never a dull moment in any book that I read from Lani Lynn Vale. Each story is packed with humor, steam, wit, and suspense, and F-Bomb holds true to those story components and adds in originality due to who the main characters are and how they make things work between them. 4.5 Poison Apples

This book was just one more reason why I love Lani Lynn Vale! I've been waiting for Slate's book ever since I met him 8 books ago. How can I not want to meet this hero? After his partner, who was also his fiancee, was murdered, he went after her killer and ended up with a murder rap. I think it should have have been viewed as justifiable homicide or maybe suicide by cop, but then again, I'm a sucker for a vigilante and I'm in love with Slate. Slate gets out and ends up moving into the house he bought before he went in. He just wants to be alone. He loves his sister, but he needs his space. He's come to respect his brothers in the MC, but they don't understand his reticence. So what happens when his alone time is interrupted by his neighbor constantly taking over his yard? Harleigh is a sassy, spunky, feisty bundle of awesomeness. I didn't like her at first because she made wild assumptions about my sweetie, Slate, but my opinions changed just as quickly as hers did. When she was able to see everything that was amazing about Slate, she became my kind of girl. Not quite dealing with past trauma, her quirks keep putting her in Slate's path and their love seemed almost inevitable. If you are lonely, dim all the lights and put on a scary movie. Then you won't feel so alone. - I can't get enough of the chapter quotes With tons of suspense and a huge revelation that will change these characters lives forever, Vale gave us a banger of a tale. There was one twist to the story that I'm still a bit shocked by. I'm wondering if the fullness of it was covered in another book. I'm going to have to go back and read the ones I've missed. If you love hot and spicy romance with suspense, you're going to love this one!

Electrifyingly sultry! With the final book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series, we finally get the story of the man who's intrigued us since the start of the series. Slate is finally home and setting out to start his life over. He has a lot of ghosts to revisit in his old life on his journey, but the future is looking brighter than it has in a long time. This book brings us his story and gives us the chance to see a lot of familiar faces from previous books and see how some of their lives are flourishing. I really enjoyed this series as a whole, and this book was a lot of fun to read. Former cop Slate Solis is finally free. For the first time in a decade, he's out in the world and able to live his life again. He knows committing murder was the wrong thing to do, but in the heat of the moment after watching his partner and fiancee die before his eyes, he needed retribution. He can't honestly regret it. The one thing he's going to miss about prison is the gorgeous woman who caught his eye while visiting a friend about three years ago. She's been a pleasant distraction on visiting day ever since, and he is going to miss seeing her. Or he thought he was ... until he realizes she's living right next door to him ... with her husband! Off all the luck!

I think, while reading the books about all of the kids from the previous books, I'm constantly being surprised by how different their stories are, and how much I'm enjoying them. I love catching up with characters from some of my favorite books, and I love seeing where their kids ended up. Who they became, what they have done with their lives. And of course finding out about their HEA!!!! This story was no exception, since I adored Payton and Max's story, and Harleigh was so much a part of that! Harleigh had an amazing life growing up, but even that can't protect her from grown up troubles. Some of those troubles haunt her, keeping her from living her life to the fullest, but she is able to compensate for that. When some of those troubles lead to a glimpse of Slate, there is an immediate attraction, unlike anything either one of them have experienced before. Unlike Harleigh, Slate's life hasn't been good. And it just keeps getting worse. But Harleigh is enough to turn it all around, even if he doesn't know it. Fate keeps throwing her in his path, and he just isn't strong enough to resist, even if he wanted to. I loved the relationship between Harleigh and Slate. She is everything he needs, and he will help her move past her issues. It was just plain beautiful! I couldn't stop myself from LOL'ing at their interaction. This is definitely one of those books that kept me entertained!
