Nikki and Damien are an amazing, combustible and unpredictable couple. As they settle into married life and their careers, they find that targets are still on them as people are jealous of their success. Nikki has to face demons of her past as she makes a move for a new contract in Dallas pushing her to face all the ghosts and thoughts that haunt her. Excitement happens for them as well. Their chemistry is combustible with every sexy and erotic moment between them. I love that we get to interact with their circle of friends to see how their lives are progressing as well as to see how important they are in Nikki and Damien’s life. I feel like I am visiting old friends each time I get to dive back into the Stark universe.

I have loved this series from the very first book...something about Damien Stark that just hooked me! I love his and Nikki's on going relationship, they have love, desire, lust, some tears, sadness, loss but they always have each other's back, they always know what the other needs and wants, that is what makes them so perfect for each other. This book starts with them in Dallas Texas, Nikki's hometown, where her demons reside, Nikki is bidding on a job that she so wants, but first she has to face her biggest demon which is her mother! What they find when the arrive at her childhood home is a real surprise! Throughout this book we see just how much Damien loves Nikki and how he would do just about anything to ensure her continued happiness and safety especially from her mother! It was good to see in this book Jackson and Sylvia, Jamie and Ryan, Jane and Dallas and Wyatt. I can not wait to read his story, that man is just a mystery. I will not reveal any of the secrets and surprises that J. Kenner has in the book because that would not be fair to those of you who have not read it. I will say that I was cheering at some of the pages, had tears on others and back to cheering again! J. Kenner you have done it again and I can not wait to read more of their love and lives in future books.

After several short novellas with the Starks and their friends, Nikki and Damien are back in a full length novel to continue their story. It starts off with Nikki and Damien back in Dallas as Nikki hopes to expand her business by landing a big client and and also to see if she can lay some ghosts to rest by visiting her childhood home. And basically things take off from there. Without giving too many spoilers, Nikki is once again on the wrong end of some very disturbing text messages, her mother makes yet another unwelcome and very unmotherly appearance and as a couple they face one of the biggest tragedies, a miscarriage. Once again, Nikki and Damien come together, each being the others strength, even though Damien, as usual, tries to protect Nikki from the world. I was not disappointed in this book and once again, J. Kenner swept me away into a fantasy world.

Book exchanged for an honest review~ Damien and Nikki Stark have faced many challenges in their dating and married life. They are each other's source of strength and passion. Nikki is pitching to a company in Dallas which brings up all kinds of memories and none of them good. Nikki faints scaring the hell out of Damien. When Nikki learns that she's pregnant she's unsure how she feels. Nikki is full of doubt while Damien is sure she'll be the best mother ever. Nikki fears that she'll not be up to the challenge of motherhood among other things. Meanwhile Nikki believes that she's seeing her mother everywhere yet no one believes her. Someone is sending Nikki threatening texts and Damien is keeping secrets. What is Damien hiding? Is Nikki really seeing her mother? Who is threatening Nikki? Your answers await you in Anchor Me. This story suck me in from the beginning and didn't let go until the end. The characters and story were rich, bold, real, raw, gritty, complex, intriguing, and compelling. I usually stay away from reading books in the middle of a series but found that much of the back story was shared through out the whole book. Definitely an author I'd consider reading again.

This was one of my most anticipated reads so far this year and it did not disappoint. It was everything I thought it would be and MORE! I can never get enough of Damien & Nikki. Their lives, the love they share and their emotions are all larger than life, yet with each new story it still has a natural, almost essential feel to it. Beautifully written with explosive heat and gut wrenching emotion. J. Kenner took me to all the beautiful places, ripped my heart to pieces, and then put it back together again. This book was another wild and crazy ride, but I loved every minute of it!

J Kenner has given us fans of Nikki and Damien Stark just what we have been waiting for, a full length novel telling us where the couple are now. I was so excited to read this book and it did not disappoint. Nikki has been asked to pitch her proposal for software to a company based in Texas, that means going back to where she grew up and facing her demons namely her mother, there is no way Damien will let her face this alone so he goes with her under the pretext of buying a new car to add to his big boys toy collection, but this trip turns into so much more than just a business trip not only has Nikki's mum moved without leaving a forwarding address, they also find out Nikki is pregnant...... As with all of the Stark Novels things don't always run smoothly and this book is no different but the ending made up for all the heartache that has gone before for one of my favourite book couples. Anchor Me is a book that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat right to the very last line and I'm guessing if you are a Nikki & Damien Stark fan you will read this book in one sitting. I Loved It.

Title: Anchor Me Author: J. Kenner Genre: Adult, Contemporary Romance Format: Ebook, ARC Pages: 272 Rating: 5 Heat: 5 Thoughts: That was horribly awesome! Talk about hitting the feels, geez, I still get teary eyed just thinking about it. I think this has to be one of the best Stark novels, and Damien is still at the top of my book boyfriend list. And Nikki's mom, well, I would've told her where to shove it and never would've made the deal that Nikki did. But I totally understand why she did it. Then the little surprise at the end!! That was awesome, especially since that means there will have to be another book, at least a novella. Getting more of Stark, even a hint of one, gets me all excited lol. Kudos Ms. Kenner for another awesome story that I couldn't put down! Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.

Well when i thought this was a trilogy, it was fun to see that we get another installment. There's so much left unsaid with this happy couple, and seeing what we've gotten glimpses of in the spin off series wasn't quite enough. So this fourth installment shows us what's next for Nikki and Damien as their lives continues. They are both coming into a new phase of things, Nikki getting her business off the ground with a potential new deal in Dallas and Damien trying to wrap up loose ends that keep coming up and causing rifts in their relationship. Then there's the constant conversation around them of when they are going to have a baby - and of course that means that when a series of events happen, we learn that Nikki isn't sick, but preggo that their world spins. Nikki has a hard time dealing with the news since we all know that she's had the worst relationship with her mother and fears what that all means for her in the future. Damien's reaction doesn't make her any happier given that she wonders why it's such a positive reaction and maybe he's been hiding his true feelings about putting kids on hold. Of course, the dynamics of their relationship mean that we'll see resolutions come from their love and steamy sexual chemistry. It's no wonder they have no trouble getting the pregnant part to stick, just a wonder of what it will mean in the future. On top of that, there's so much more going on. Sofia, Nikki's nemesis shows up in the story and that can't be anything good. Giselle pops up again too and you have to wonder what her angle is since she's also one who was trying to get between them. If those 2 weren't enough, Nikki's mother continues to haunt her, with Nikki feeling like she's seeing her mom everywhere, and when she's in Dallas and learns that her mom has sold her house there, she's convinced that her mom's in LA and that's just a bad sign yet again. So as you can see, so much turmoil and bad omens popping up that the true question in this book is what will be the breaking point and how much will they have to fight for each other in the hopes of keeping their relationship sound and happy. The great thing that our author does throughout this series though is tee up that there are going to be spin offs and continuations of the series with the supporting characters that we know that we'll get to continue on the journey w

Another smashing, emotionally charged, extremely sexy addition to the Damien & Nikki story

If there is one name in book boyfriend land that sets my heart racing, it's Damien Stark. That dominant, sexy, but oh-so supportive billionaire who puts Christian Grey to shame. Anchor Me is a full size novel in the series and my was it full of ups and downs, very much like a roller coaster. We find Nikki and Damien in Dallas back in Nikki's old neighborhood and she's full of nerves about it. Then there's her pitch to a company that could be a huge boost for her app company. It's no wonder she ends up getting ill. She also ends up with mommie dearest to contend with, on top of a text stalker, and an old nemesis. Through it all, Damien stands, sits ands definitely loves by her side. But he also keeps information from her, and that just might cause a problem or two. There are some fairly emotional moments in this book, so you might want to keep the tissues handy, but I have to say, after just watching an internet show adaptation of a popular romance book, I'm sitting here dreaming up my fantasy cast for the Stark and Beyond series. It would most definitely have to be on late night cable, because...hello, we can't cut out the kink. Just imagine. Who would YOUR dream cast be. *sighs happily* Voluntarily read ARC provided by InkSlinger PR

Nikki and Damien are never far from the drama. Anchor Me is filled with beautifully written scenes that clinging to the characters. Nikki is so strong but her ability to accept this is only through Damien's love. Will jealousy and revenge come knocking on their door...again? Will their marriage survive? A fantastic read.

4.25 stars--ANCHOR ME is the fourth full length instalment in J. Kenner’s contemporary, adult STARK TRILOGY erotic, romance series. This is the continuing story of billionaire Damien Stark, and his wife Nikki Fairchild-Stark. ANCHOR ME can be read as a stand alone although I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion as many of the events in Anchor Me are as of a direct result of previous story lines. Told from first person point of view (Nikki) ANCHOR ME follows Nikki as she struggles with the past, the present and a possible future. In preparation for a potential new client Nikki and Damien head back to Nikki’s hometown of Dallas Texas that evokes too many bad memories for our story line heroine. A past mired in betrayal, abuse and mistrust finds our heroine struggling with news that will affect her future with the man that she loves. What ensues are Damien and Nikki’s attempts to move on from the past while the past continues to encroach on the couple’s happily ever after. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters most of whom we have met in previous instalments and the numerous spin off series including Stark International and the author’s S.I.N trilogy. The appearance of Nikki’s mother leads to some questionable decisions on behalf of the heroine-I would have refused all contact regardless of the relationship. ANCHOR ME is a story of love and loss; of family and friendships; of betrayal, painful memories, secrets and new directions. J. Kenner writes an emotional and personal story line about one couple’s struggle with family, dark memories, and loss. Damien is an alpha male, a protective husband, a sensuous lover who lives for the woman that calls to his heart but a woman who struggles with issues of self-esteem, and a history that is darkened by betrayal and loss. The premise will captivate your imagination; the characters will break your heart; the romance continues to push the envelope.

4/11 Anchor Me-on Goodreads so far Ahhh-mazing!! I can't ever seem to get enough of Damien & Nikki Stark! They are one of my all time favorite book couples!! J. Kenner, you just get me every time with them. As usual through your incredible ability to bring these characters to life, you allow them to shine so you shine too. I feel like this story in particular brings Damien & Nikki closer than ever before, if that was even possible. Even though they go through such incredible pain and sadness, at the end of it all, they are so incredibly happy. This is the way they thrive and how we love to see our beloved Damien & Nikki. Fantastic addition to their story. I look forward to more of their incredible love story in the future.

I have eagerly been waiting for the next installment of Damien and Nikki's story. I loved this book because not only was it a great next step in their life, but it's a true picture at what marriage is whether you are rich or poor, marriage is give and take. Nikki and Damien are soulmates and their love is fierce, but in a marriage you have to learn to live together. You have to work at things and share things with each other even when you don't want to. This book was a true tribute to marriage everywhere and I love that one of my most beloved couples are showing me how they fight for their love and marriage. We are all given roadblocks and not many of us ride off into the sunset. I love this book because although we continue to see Damien and Nikki in other books, they have ridden off into this perfect life. This book brings us back into the reality that although things can look perfect, it takes work to make it perfect, even with the love of your life. Such a great read and so great going into this journey with Nikki and Damien. Loved it.
