A series of 65 Christian cartoon drawn by U. S. Abell in the early 20th century.

Although the term "cartoon" can sometimes mean a funny, amusing, or unrealistic image, that cannot be said of the images in this series. These images were drawn by a man determined to expound biblical truths and principles. The themes the images emphasize are timeless and remain sound in any age. Each image is usually built around a single concept and can express the root of the matter with a quick glance. Often more quickly and enduring than words expressing the ideas themselves.

Even thought these images are over 75 years old, it is amazing how applicable they are yet today.
